Here are my predictions for this race...

- Milka get's pulled by the IRL on lap 12.

- Paul Tracy will finish on the podium - but not win.

- Simona De Silvestro will also finish on the podium.

- Justin Wilson for the win.

- It will suck rocks because it is on Vs. so I can't watch it.

The only one that might come true with those is Justin Wilson winning. I dont think Tracy or De Silvestro will be on the podium although it would be cool to see. I also think Milka will either not start or be called off a lot quicker than lap 12.

"I don't pay attention to what others say."
clearly

Why do they have to wait till the end of the year. Does IRL not have a minnimum speed rule? NASCAR's is like 5%.

If they do Hugo Chavez ruins the season for multiple drivers. I read on another site a couple days ago, if Milka is kicked out he takes all the money he gave to Dale Coynes team away. Which would end probably shutting the orginization down costing Alex Llyod. He also said he could pull his finanical ties with EJ Viso which would screw the 3 full time KV drivers over (Viso, Moraes, and Sato). Who would of thunk one driver could cost a 1/5 of the series a job.

Hmmm...Simona is in 7th and Tracy is in 15th...looks like 2 of my 4 predictions are in dire straights - although not impossible but not likely either. I still think it will be at least 12 laps before they pull Milka especially after reading that ESPN article.

Those predictions are a perfect example of SWAG except without the S really. Figured if a few of those came true I'd look like a racing genius - which I am NOT.

Is de Silvestro up-staging Danica? We may now be witnessing the changing of the guard for the women drivers.

I am absolutely stunned. That call for blocking on Helio was complete BS!

How does somebody (Brian Barnhart) that cant even get the entire field to start side by side have the balls to penalize anyone?

The call is being reviewed right now so it may not be final.

After the race Castroneves screamed at Indy Racing League officials and then grabbed another official with both his hands. An IRL official said that move will likely result in further disciplinary action.

Wow...Helio did this? Really? Can't recall the last time he lost it like that. If that is really the case then he deserves whatever the IRL dishes out at that point. Bad call or not assaulting officials is not justified.

Other than the yellow flags most of the excitement through the first 78 laps came from the passing performances of Tracy and Switzerland’s Simona de Silvestro.

Interesting...

I couldn't believe what I was seeing either when he was doing it, and I was watching it live as everyone else who was tuned into the race. Complete BS call, but you can't lay your hands on the officials no matter what.

Good for Helio, he was absolutely robbed and he showed he wasn't going to lie down and take it. The officials should be ashamed of themselves for making this call yesterday. It was a fuc*king joke. Between this awful awful awful call and the f1 ending we had some pretty bad endings to the open wheel races yesterday.

I also hate the no blocking rule. Let them have at it.

What a crap azz series...Telling drivers where they can and cannot race on the track....What a bunch of BS

I agree. I finally got around to seeing a replay last night and have to say that was the crappiest call I have ever seen. Absolutely uncalled for and Helio has ever right to be really pissed off.

Yeah well...Indy cars are missing a key element to just let them "have at it." They're called fenders (hence the term open wheel) and this is what happens when they just have at it:

I got to see that little gem in person.
