I think Keselowski is right (as he often is) about Danica:

She must be a major disappointment to you ,I can see why . Only one top ten and one pole in 14 races . That is certainly a crappy record .You certainly have brought it to our attention. I really don't see why people keep bringing her name up.

Well since there's a thread about her I may as well post it. I just feel for a driver that can't finish above Mike Bliss and barely beats Joe Nemechek in the Nationwide series standings she sure gets a lot of publicity. I guess having a vajayjay isn't all bad.

Generally because she is mentioned in an article or column on ESPN.com, NASCAR.com, in USA Today, or something similar almost everyday.She is so bad , folks feel they have to tell someone every day , even if she isn't racing that day . It kinda perpetuates the myth that she gets too much attention.

Ted, when her driving ability overtakes her marketability, she will be discussed for that reason. Her foray into Nascar is all about people talking about her and that's what people are doing. I see it a winning situation for Patrick and Nascar.

She's ,at best , a 30th place driver . We can't stop talking about her . We blame her , we blame Nascar , we blame the media ,(we don't blame Tony cause we like Tony ) ,but it's us who are actually perpetuating the hype . IMO

I 100% agree and that is exactly what they want and as fans of something, we invest our time/money thereby giving us the feeling that we are free to judge, criticize or codemn. I truly don't see a losing side in this whole experiment.

I don't know why but a lot of the times when she would come down the straight away in front of us yesterday in practice it just sounded like her engine didn't have as high of an rpm as a lot of the cars. Maybe it was just the way her exhaust sounded. It just seemed like her car didn't have as sharp a cackle as some of them.

It's simple: she's not as good as them! She's not "one of the boys". Not until I am proven otherwise will I respect her as a threat.

We all know that isn't true ,she had a lead foot at Daytona , and even a 40th place driver can drive a car in practice . She wasn't in the same area code as the other drivers in practice , with no other cars around her . And she's a girl.Maybe her right foot is a little weak.

Not at the level we're seeing for Patrick but it was definitely there. Montoya was, IMO, an attempt to tap into a huge demographic but never really sold it as such. Nascar hyped him as a great F1 driver.

in Kyle's first season in Cup (2004), he ran part-time and started six races
in the two races that he didn't either park it or get taken out in an accident, he finished 32nd and 24th
in his first full season (2005), he won twice, had 9 top fives and 13 top tens and led a total of 365 laps
Danica is Danica and only time will tell what kind of numbers she'll put up, but why on earth are you trying to compare her to Kyle Busch ?
then again, maybe's there's a chance she'll win a couple races this year and come home with top five and top ten numbers that are favorable to Kyle's first full season

Not comparing her to anyone . Just put up Kyle's first 18 races so Tarzie ( who is a Kyle fan ) could compare her first 14 races to his first 18 races . She is an awful driver and she's a girl. Shoot whatever you want to.

Personally, I would love to see her do well in NASCRAP.BUT....reality is what it is...If you watched her qualifying laps on friday you would have a better perspective of whats going on....And that is a serious lack of communication...You would think the driver and crew chief would have a plan as to what they were going to do in qualifying.....lol....I was awstruck when as she crosses the S/F line on her first Q lap, she keys the mike and asks Gibson if she should take another lap....A short pause...and tony responds...."if you want to"...I would be concerned with her focus...divorce...new budding romance...sponsor /media commitments...An endless source of revenue from GoDaddy...and the fact that she has earned over $600k so far this season
