With the hyperbole, chastisement, angst and drama of this thread it is more entertaining than a lot of the races. Who'd a thunk it!
There really is no hyperbole here. The sport is this much of a circus.

I will leave it to you and others to dissect the quality of Nascar fans as that is not important to me. What is important for Nascar is that they revive their moribund series and if that means have nekked wimmin parachuting in at the halftime intermission then so be it.
If NASCAR was the biggest draw in the country with a 40.0 TV rating, I would still be in favor of this change.
Are we sure that heat races will be announced?I will be glad to actually hear what the changes are when they become official especially what the heat races will entail. If they are like what X did last year there won't be any point in watching and if that is the case I will will skip to the main event.

I know Kyle had a new one made, but I wonder who ended up taking the pieces of the broken guitar home haha. Would be cool to put on a shelf.

Or find something else to watch. Which is what has been happening. It's important to me. If as @cheesepuffs suggests that the bitching will be endless and NASCAR is listening to this sh!t, then NASCAR will chase its ass right down the toilet. How the hell everybody here--who I know loved the sport at one time--got so far away from the joy of simply hearing a motor turn over is freakin' sad as hell. My only solution at this point is well documented--find a different way to watch. The old way obviously isn't working.
