In Carls mind, he's a champ and earned more of the track than other drivers. He'll ruin his season by getting into it with someone.

The more I see out of Edwards the less I like the guy, I don't hate any drive out there, but I've totally lost any respect for Edwards. I think when the race is on the line though, with 10 or less laps to go, you won't see too many drivers back out of it when they are bunched together. Kahne has a lot to prove with Hendrick, so maybe he feels the pressure a little and is pushing it a little too much?

Which is why I was shocked to see Matt back up and let Carl in. It didn't make any sense from a racers point of view.

Why did Carl jump on Matt and put him in a bad position like that? It was a dumb move that would have gotten him turned by Tony, Jeff or a bunch of other drivers.
