Joey vs Tony 'hair puller' Stewart.

So you can't answer a question presented to you? Gotcha. Why? Cause the answer won't be beneficial to your cause? OK. Moving along...

To answer your question that makes no sense, if I didn't think she could drive, hell no I wouldn't.

See how that works? :)
What difference does that make? Obviously he thought all of those people had talent, but the point is he never went on record saying any of them would "go down as one of the best to ever race." Did he? And Im sure having Roger Penske telling him that is only going to boost his confidence more to go do it. I really think that confidence was the only thing missing for him and he has it now.

I would say that our resident car chief has made a few very dramatic changes to his cars. "I need a little more spring travel".

Runs off and orders Monster truck suspension.

lol I already won!.

There's a whole lot of ground between 'great' driver and 'no talent' driver, but you didn't want to talk about that.

What in the sam hell are you talking about? I've thrown fact after fact at you. You've answered with nothing but opinion after opinion. If you think you've "won" anything, you've fallen off your rocker again.

Did he? I'm not going to say he didn't, because I don't know, just like you don't know everything he says. Lol

here's a fun fact for ya'. The terms talented, good, adequate, fast, very fast, ect lie between the terms 'no talent' and 'great'.

Well that would be a great fact, except I don't recall saying Joey has NO talent. I agree that Joey falls somewhere between no talent and great, but he's not even close to being on the great side.

This dudes just mad because I said Joey wasn't a top 10 driver, which he isn't. He's gone on a rampage ever since. Oh well.

Joey is on the rise.. and no stats can change that. You're just getting upset because you're fighting a losing battle.

Numbers are on my side. You are trying to argue speculation, while I argue fact. I'm not "losing" anything, so get over it.

SlicedBread22 is just Joey Logano's account here.

Either that or his mom's.

:partytime

I've also got a ton of FACTS for you, but you seem to get bothered by those and just ignore them anyways. ;)
dang did you finally figure that out? your getting smarter by the minute, getting tired of hero obsession you two..probably not. Joey joey joey...Kyle kyle kyle. bwaaaa time out five minutes, you boys touch noses for five minutes...ring a bell?

That might sound good if I were debating anything about Kyle. Derp. He has nothing to do with our discussion. Please keep up.

Tony didn't pull anyone's hair but he was also wrong to go after Logano because Joey did nothing wrong. Blocking on a late restart is perfectly acceptable.

why? your obsessed and he is obsessed..get your noses together..five minutes.

Oh, so having a continued discussion on a message board, thats pure intent is to have open discussions, means we're obsessed? Get a grip dude.

looks like it to me, 6 pages worth of Joey is Joey isn't. now kids back to your obsessions. did to did not

oh good, six more of discussion-obsession I can't wait. at least it won't be about JOEY:bleh:somebody bring up Tony will ya, he's the real star here

So, you're obsessing about us "obsessing". You almost make sense. Once again, instead of trolling, just don't open the thread. It really is that simple. It seems that concept eludes you. You'd rather just b*tch about something.

here is the original post. Think ya got a weee bit of topic? or not.jus sayin

This one deserves it's own thread, because it really illustrates the bullying that goes on in nascar.

First up, Roger Penske defends Joey and calls Tony on his BS complaints.

http://www.usatoday.com/story/sport...oey-logano-tony-stewart-denny-hamlin/2016373/

The team owner said he completely stands behind his driver who was involved in incidents with both Denny Hamlin and Tony Stewart on Sunday

Team owner Roger Penske staunchly defended Joey Logano after his Sprint Cup driver was involved in a pair of controversies near the end of Sunday's race at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, Calif.
"I'm 150% behind my driver, and I think he's a real star on the team," Penske told USA TODAY Sports in a phone interview Sunday night after returning to his home in Michigan.

Penske, who was rebuffed politely by Stewart last year after offering a ride in the 2013 Indianapolis 500, said Stewart's comments were "unwarranted, quite honestly" because the three-time champion employs the same tactics.

"I've watched him from the spotter's stand quite a bit, and I think Stewart is one of the best in the business at blocking," Penske said. "Anyone is going to protect the bottom (lane). I think his comments are unwarranted, quite honestly. I think we should move on."

Good. Now we ALL agree that Roger wouldn't hire a driver with no talent.

Next subject is Doggie nipples. DPK will get us started.

My point was more that Roger hired drivers that he thought were talented, but more often than not, turned out that he was wrong.

Don't know much about doggie nipples, so I'll have to chime in on that later.

It might have been helpful to just say that. Roger laid out about $10 million of his own money to finance Brad in 2010. Seems like he knows his stuff.

Penske has made pretty good choices driver wise but has made some not so good ones as well. Logano's performance will determine how good or bad this one was.

All but eight other drivers wish they were where Logano is right now in the points. The points will eventually shake out and we'll all know for sure how good the guy is come November. Until then it's all a matter of opinion. You can't argue opinion. As Jr. would say, It don't mean sh!t.

So far so good.

We've had some pretty good discussions about Logano going to Penske when it was first announced and I, being one of his more vocal critics around here, felt that he needed to be more assertive with himself and his driving. I'd say that he's attempting to do exactly that and he still hasn't sold me but he's on the right track, IMO.

He does, however, have to be careful of pissing off guys like Stewart 'cause right or wrong, guys like that can make things extremely difficult for him to do his job. He may also want to consider letting Hamlin ramble away and just worry about outdriving him instead of out twittering him.

I have a feeling that Stewart has by now determined that he had his foot stuck in his mouth. I like Stewart as much as the next guy but he does an awful lot of talking only to see no action from it. Time will tell I guess.

I seem to recall Tony saying very similar things about Matt Kenseth after Bristol last year. Haven't seen anything of it and don't expect to. However Joey is an easy target for these guys. Hopefully he can just keep standing his ground and I think he'll be just fine.

I guess if ole dipwad was a smooth talker he would be a politician.

The bottom line is Tony just likes racing. That kinda reminds me of someone else I know. :D
