Joey vs Tony 'hair puller' Stewart.

Oh Jimmy Spencer. He's had his fair share of feuds, but has he actually accomplished enough as a driver that really gives him the right to do all the talking that he does? Maybe I didn't watch NASCAR enough in the earlier years, but I don't recall him being a great driver or accomplishing much. (I know this thread isn't about Jimmy, but he spoke concerning this issue and I didn't feel the need to create a whole new thread.)

He gets paid to speak about it..that's his job. stir the pot..keep it going for television ratings..he gets paid for getting people to watch him..get it?

yeah if you wiki his career, you will see he was a so so driver, did ok, but compare that to the career of Tony and you can see the difference. What the network has done with Jimmy is play up his fight with Kurt Bush and made him into an entertainer. His character is off the wall, kinda goofy and he says what they want him to say mostly. He's making a livin just like the rest of us.

So in other words, do the opposite of what Jimmy Spencer tells you to do? If he tells you you're doing something wrong, then you should continue doing what you are doing!

I couldn't have said it better myself. That's all I was thinking listen to him bash Logano. "Really? This coming from a guy who Logano outshined by the age of 22? Come on Jimmy... like you know what it takes to be successful in NASCAR"... when he said he needs to earn some respect or he wont be around very long... I call BS, he wins a few races, performs well and he'll get re-signed, simple as that pretty much, I don't think it would matter if the other drivers don't respect him. I like Jimmy Spencer but some of the things that come out of his mouth are just foolish.

Tony made it very personal, and that was wrong. Tony does indeed back off when the media or PO go against him, so it will be interesting to see how that works out. When I see Tony's reaction to Joey's restart block, I'm thinking about 20 guys should have run Tony over as he headed to his car in the Talladega parking lot.

he is an actor on TV now. he used to drive a race car. Make up your own mind about what he is saying. But try to remember he is getting paid by the TV people, they are his boss, so they have a script for the show he is on and he has a time slot to fill.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Team owner Roger Penske wasn't happy with Tony Stewart's comments about one of his drivers Sunday, but not enough to rescind his offer to one day put the three-time Sprint Cup champion in the Indianapolis 500.
"He can always drive at the Indianapolis 500 for me," Penske told ESPN.com late Monday. "We like guys that aren't afraid to speak their peace. That's fine with me."

Just window dressing, he knows Tony cant fit in the car.

A.J. Foyt is a hero of Tony Stewart, he runs the #14 which used to be A.J's number. here is a little ditty when A.J. ran in Nascar:
AJ Foyt’s little outburst in victory lane at Texas may be the most well remembered moment of last year’s IRL season, but it’s not the first time Foyt has lost his temper. During the May race at Talladega in 1988, Foyt lost his cool, and purposely drove into the side of Alan Kulwicki’s Ford. Later he apologized to Alan, and said it was a case of mistaken identity. AJ never denied the blatant hit was done on purpose, he only said it was actually Brett Bodine he was trying to put into the wall. But AJ wasn’t done. NASCAR black-flagged Foyt for the incident, and told him to park the car. AJ said he would prefer not to, if that was all the same with them. NASCAR announced they were pulling his scorecard. Foyt was so angry that he drove into the pits and tried to run over a NASCAR official who stood there helpfully pointing out which way it was to the garage area. The fellow was able to leap out of the way in time, but Foyt was still fined a then record setting $7,500 for his misconduct.

after bristol......maybe tony was just pissed that joey was gettin mo tweets than him ? ha!
tony did say..... he was gonna have "his peoples"..... checkin on that this week ! ha!

Yeah, 2:40 is definitely the payoff. It's amazing how much work went into this. The little restart block sure became the block heard around the world.
