Suppose Roush is trying to buy some spots for Stenhouse right now ;)

One of the reasons I dont like Stenhouse. He pulled out of his pit and hit the 14, it was his fault but just blamed the 14, "we were doing okay until the 14 just came on in and hit me".

Looked to me like they hit each other, as #14 was turning left when #6 was turning right so I'd say that Stenhouse and his CC need to both take responsibility for that.

Yep, that was my point, the 14 did nothing wrong.

I think it was just one of those things that either driver could have avoided.

This does bring up something i've wondered about, especially after Stewart said THIS was his fault. Is it that the guy coming in needs to yield to a car coming out? Tony does make an extremely late entry to his pit, so maybe that's why he felt that collision was his fault?

In the incident with Ricky last night, I feel the 14 should have yielded the exit to Ricky. I hate to see top guys especially championship contenders taken out by back markers. Especially in the pits. 14 could've very easily let Ricky had the exit especially when he seen the 6 leave the box.

I watched the dvr replay three times and it looks to me like the 14 was commited into the turn and had no choice. As you all know a supposed hot shoe driver cannot expect everyone to move over and wait on his ass to decide when to leave. He left at the wrong time and got hit like dozens have before him.

I looked but couldnt find where Tony took the blame for this but I'm sure Bad Brad was completely faultless OH Walk On Water One. :D

During the race, Brad felt it was his fault and kept trying to get his crew to apologize. A day or 2 later, Brad tweeted that Tony had said it wasn't Brad fault at all, but Brad still felt it was his fault. So it seems like even 2 drivers known for taking their share of responsability can't agree who's to blame. :p

I think it's the responsibility of Stenhouse and his CC to do what they can to avoid stuff like that. It was a caution flag stop - I believe - and he had the best car out there. In his defense, he isn't the first to ever blame another driver for his misfortune and he most certainly wont be the last.

the only way I could lay some blame on Tony is that he never moved to an inside line before turning to enter his pit. That may have caused Brads crew to fail to realize that Tony intended to enter his pit box. Tony clearly messed up his entry and would have ended up at a crazy angle even without the contact.

That's the way I see it. In the end, Ricky's crew should have called him out better because they had more to lose. Obviously, Ricky can't see the 14 until they come together, so it's up to the crew to guide him out. Since they were taking just 2, a little patience wouldn't have lost positions.

Must be an echo in here, what I said: He pulled out of his pit and hit the 14, it was his and the CCs fault but just blamed the 14, "we were doing okay until the 14 just came on in and hit me".

Guess I'm different. I think after 193 starts for McClure and not a single top 5 or 10 in any of them he'd know his role by now and not save his racing for pit lane. He seen the 6 exit and while I agree both drivers and spotters could've done a better job, the 14 should've yielded.

 lol Johali. No, I never said it was anyones fault. The 14 wasn't very careful there, and showed a lack of respect to a championship contender. The driver of the 14 saw Ricky coming out, and decided to cut him off anyway. You can't deny the fact that Ricky was established in his lane, and the 14 left his lane and ran into the lane Ricky was in. :p
