Race: 5/10

Coverage: 5/10

We're NEVER going to know the limits of the wet weather package and that's frustrating. An exhibition race is the perfect opportunity to, as the kids now days like to say, "**** around and find out."

Lots of reasons to grumble, but I liked what I was able to watch while working. I give it a 7.

5.....Congrats to the 60 team.

Neither rain, nor snow, nor heat, nor gloom of night stays these drivers from the swift completion of their appointed race.

Besides the procedural problems it was actually a great race. We had racing around the top and bottom at times, we had passing, we had beating and banging, we had slipping and sliding in the rain...

What more did you want from an exhibition race?

7 which is a very strong rating considering the circumstances. Bowman Gray in the rain having a modified driver and a V8 Supercar driver compete for the lead at a point was really neat.

it was entertaining, aggressive, and provided some tense moments. All in all, a good race. I actually thought the uncertainty of the weather made it much more interesting as drivers were forced to adapt to constantly changing conditions and situations.

I don't watch enough nascar to really have a hard opinion, and I only caught the last 90 something laps, but I really enjoyed it. I especially liked it when the announcers were talking about the rain, different lines and evolving track.

Granted, it was messy, but isn't most 1/4 mile racing? It's a non-championship race, so just have a little fun with it. However, let's take next weekend a little more seriously.

A 2 with a 7.5 finish.

The fact that the race was doubled due to cautions was absurd. The fact that they slapped on rain tires and finished was good. Seeing Preece pull it out was very good. Seeing his post race commentary not get bleeped was priceless.
