She NEVER watches us or talks about us.
She drives the racecars that WE'D like to drive. She makes more money than WE do.
IMO, that makes her a winner.

I disagree. If Danica Patrick were winning races and getting even more attention, she'd get even more hate. I like Johanna Long but the only reason a lot of people support her is because she's not Danica Patrick. And that's a shame.

NASCAR fans hated Danica Patrick back in 2005 when she was running IndyCar and I know this because I remember SPEED Channel's NASCAR pundits bad-mouthing her back then.

That's a different kind of hate though, people "hate" Jimmie Johnson because he wins all the championships. Now maybe there would be more hate but my thing is, We can't say "since Danica gets hate, no woman should get a cup ride." Isn't that a bit sexist? Athletes don't need our protecting. Every athlete who can generate $ without earning it, wins all the time or gets paid a bunch of money will get hate. Its the way the culture is. If any idiot wants to hate on Danica cause she's a woman, that's their problem.

I know for ME, I don't hate Danica.. as a person I could care less. I just feel as driver, she hasn't earned her spot.

That's why I HOPE Johanna gets shot with a half decent team cause we could use another good, young driver in the sport regardless of gender or race.

"Anyone but Johnson" or "Anyone but Patrick", both are hateful things to say but only one is acceptable.
