Hopefully that groove continues to widen. I really like what I saw in the NNS race. Using that outside lane to loosen up the inside cars is fun to watch. Also takes a brave and trusting soul. haha

Old and new timing lines since the repave. Pit road speeding penalty's today? I'm sure they all did their homework. :D

How the Sam Hill did Stewart end up in the 2nd pit box? He qualified something like 51st.

He's pitting between two guys that are probably going to be on the lead lap through the end of the race. I'm not sure that is the best of pit stalls today.

I like how the 17 always seem to grab the first pit in.

It seems like JJ used to do that as well. You need to be on top of your A game to get the car stopped in the right spot in that last stall.

And if history repeats itself Stewart will be a lap down by lap 50 anyway.

Good afternoon everyone!

How could Ray not put a fork in Gordon? I'm a big fan, but Gordon is way too far back!

Well, time to go get some pizza!

I must have missed something cause it looks pretty packed to me.

Someone on here about a week ago was saying that all the Central and Western US fans need to start showing that they want tracks in the area because their crowds always suck.

So... I guess you should added :sarcasm: to your statement.

"May have been a little contact there!" That was said after they clearly showed Stewart getting into Burton. Good observation.

I gotta be honest, back when I fell for NASCAR watching DE3 and Gant and all the guys blasting around the short tracks, superspeedways, and places like Darlington I never thought the sport would evolve into this. Not saying it's terrible or anything - just seems so sterile and clinical. (except when Tony gets a bit crazy).

Sounds like Clint needs a 5-Hour energy thingy...not exactly a dynamic in-car interview there

I was gonna add that on to my post. Hurts a lot of people considering the fact that he started so far up, which likely means that a lot of people picked him.

The picks are mide before qualifying but he definitely would've been someone to bring off the bench.
