Your numbers are spot on DP, except 2010, there was 80K there that year. If there are 72K seats at Kansas that wouldn't include those that are not in numbered seats. I have never seen the infield empty at a race track.

I dont mean to sound petty but those numbers are wrong, I was there the 1st 3 years and 80,000 plus were in those grandstands and probably another 20,000 in the midway, I was also there 2010 and there was'nt 100,000, there were more empty seats in 2010 than yesterday. I love racing-reference but they are wrong on those numbers

I may catch flack for saying this, but I think Goodyear should have more of these "epic failures." I mean, with the near perfect tire that we've seen for years now, having something that's not 100% perfect sure does add something to the race.

The tires that blew would have blown sooner and more often if Goodyear had brought a softer tire . Those that blew the right front likely had more than the recommended camber because they did a lot of running up front like the 43 car .I thought it was a great tire .
