Kansas Pre Race Thread

Bold Prediction: Ricky Stenhouse dominates and wins this race.
I can see this coming true.

My prediction to win is Harvick though, reentering him into the championship equation.

Remember, neither JJ or Kenseth are particularly good at Kansas, and Kyle Busch is awful there.

Jimmie Johnson spins in practice. Unfortunately only takes out a cone.

He's gotta hold some sort of record for spinning his car out and not hitting anything

Both guys have wins here. lol

In 14 starts Jimmie has, 2 wins, 6 top 5s, 12 top 10s, 3 poles and over 500 laps led.

Matt pretty much mirrors Jimmie's stats with 2 wins, 6 top 5s, 9 top 10s, 2 poles and over 450+ laps led.

That's pretty fantastic.

I will give you KB though. He difintely doesn't like Kansas.

Or wacking the wall in practices. :p

Finish positions....JJ is 7.6 in 14 races, Kenseth 14.8 in 15. Wild card is Kenseth has won the last two races though, so he might be on a hot streak.

And those two are the only two run on the new surface and variable banking.

Kenseth's last four races there: 2- 4ths and 2- 1sts. Pretty darn good. 1.5 average finish.
Johnson's last four: 4th- ave. finish. Should be good to see what happens.

You guys, I was trying to get everyone all worried about their favorite driver and then you guys spoil it.
Meanies :p

Kyle Busch evaluated/released from care center.

Kyle Busch is back at his garage stall ready to get into backup once it is ready. Team can change engines after this practice.

@SamanthaBusch
Not the way the morning was suppose to start kyle is ok thanks everyone for asking. He's got a lot of work to do tomorrow

Should an interesting test to see if KyBu can avoid meltdown during the chase.

Kenseth spins. JJ spins. KyBu spins. At this rate it looks like chasers will have a difficult enough time keeping the nose pointed in the correct direction

Jr. Lookin good so far... No spin for him...we don't need a repeat of last year

The heat's on and they're pushing it...just the way it should be :D

Man, sucks for the Busch bros. As much I hate to admit it I think at least one will wreck Sunday. I also think there will be more than 10 cautions.
