Finally replaced the upper and lower ball joints the other day, ordering struts and shocks for it soon. Still need to replace the brake line.

Stupid ************* **** I am not a mechanic

If you can't tell from my last post I'm having some annoying gremlins with the truck so that I have no idea when I may race again.

That said in other racing news I'm hoping to get my start in track work soon. A local kart track near me had posted about needing corner flaggers so I've been talking to them about doing that this year.

Damn, sorry to hear. What's going on with it? You don't have to go into a ton of detail if you don't want, I'm just curious

Oh just headaches that pile up that I don't have the budget to fix all at once. I have the pieces to replace my shocks and struts but now I need my jack serviced. I thought I needed on tire repaired but now it's 2. Still need to get the new brake line. Just little things that alone aren't hard or bad just annoying when you don't have the cash or time to do it all at once.

Sorry to hear that but you have my utmost respect. Racing is tough and expensive.

I’m rooting for you to get that one time Arca ride that you had “joked” about. Honestly can’t be too tough. Make your money back, and a bit extra to fix the truck. Win/win!

First day ended up being today. Had a blast

You know when you actually see the picture of yourself standing in the middle of a race track dragging a motorcycle off while waving a flag over your back it almost looks dangerous.

I got my first track time at Sandy Hook Speedway today, ran for an hour and a half. Granted I was on a golf cart and trying to dry the track :XXROFL:

Today is a sad day, I just posted the truck for sale. I've been putting it off for months. I don't have time to do what I want with it and its just taking up space. I still plan to get back to racing of some kind in the next few years after I'm done school and teaching full time.

In the mean time I'm still flagging at Sandy Hook Speedway where I'm pretty much head flagger most weeks.

Also been working on my track chasing list and have my total up to 58 race tracks now. Possibly start posting some of my pics and videos from that in here.

The end of an era. Not the end of my racing that will come back again at some point but the end of my first tuff truck. Sure we only ran 4 times, broke 2 different ball joints, a strut, and a brake line...but there was a 3rd place finish and the confidence that came from learning I knew what I've always known, that I was meant to drive racecars. It's not the end its a new beginning.
