Ku Busch would like to run Indy 500 Coke 600 double

They did a really nice segment about Kurt during the Indy car qualifying today.

Kurt should really start looking elsewhere. I think he wored out his welcome in NASCAR.

Very original Ted. Same responses in two different threads.

You're like a lamb to the slaughter.

An on the edge driver like Kurt should stay away from open wheel. It's too dangerous, and Kurt is at that age where his reaction time is slowing.

Seems to me that he's been quiet this year and run very well for FRR. I doubt he leaves Nascar or is forced out unless he has another meltdown.

I plan on attending that Fontana IndyCar race, it'll be interesting to see how he doe's if he indeed runs in that event...

wored
This is a word that is used for being extremely bored of using the same websites over-and-over-again
I am wored this afternoon. Have to stumble to get new one's

I think they got tired of Kurt logging on all the time.:idunno:

Obviously he's not worn out his welcome too much considering he's in the field every week and is only 13 points out of the Chase.

How he runs is really not the issue though. Its his attitude.

Yes, because his attitude has just been terrible the last year and a half or so.

And? His attitude is the reason why he is where he is today. The fact no big name company is willing to hire him should tell you all you need to know.

In his defense, he has been quiet these past year and a half but I think the damage has been done.

God bless Kurt if he can find a top quility ride though.

Seriously, can any of you ever see Kurt in top tier equipment again? I can't

He is one heck of a driver with one heck of a temper.

And where exactly do you think he is today?

I'm very interested in seeing how he does if he gets that #29 ride.

I think that Allen's point would be that Kurt is already there . He has a top drawer sponsor in Furniture Row , he is in Childress equipment with a top notch crew chief and crew . He has only just recently fallen out of the top ten and can get himself back in. He is well ahead of Burton amd Menard in the points .Why would any driver not want to be exactly where Kurt is . It is not likely that going to the 29 would be as beneficial as a second year with the same crew chief and team.

I was thinking the exact same thing, it's not like the 78 is a crappy ride!

Exactly and it's not like RCR is a much better ride since basically FRR is RCR without the name. If you think top tier ride is Hendrick and Gibbs and that's it then I'll agree he likely won't get one of those rides.. But if he was danger of not being in Nascar, he wouldn't have gotten hired by FRR.

Team settings aside , I would rate his chances better next year staying with his present crew and crew chief than switching to a new team . For the same reason , I would expect Harvick not to do as well next year as he did this year . Just an old fart's opinion.

Really.....he is already in a quality ride, why leave it?

FRR has been around since what, 2005? In 8 years they've had one win. I wouldn't exactly call that quality. I think having Kurt behind the wheel makes it look like a quality ride.

Were they RCR powered before? They're basically a satellite RCR team. I don't think they were when Regan Smith was driving for them.

This is a case of a low budget team that has slowly grown into a better team. The whiners that continually bitch about start and parks and back backers that shouldn't even be on the track? ok...HERE"S YOUR SIGN, live and learn something will ya. :)
