Ryan Newman is the biggest stupid idiot out here,’’ Busch said on the SiriusXM NASCAR Radio post-race show. “He’s a big ogre and can do whatever he wants because he can probably kick anybody’s butt. So no sense getting in a fight with him. Glad he’s out of a job.’’

Newman will dump him soon enough. Ironic how he called Newman an ogre when Kyle is one of the homeliest looking drivers in the entire sport.

We all know Samantha has to change Kyle's Diaper everyday cause Kyle is a little Baby.

Did you see his post race interview? "Waaaaaah waaaaaah!! He made me look like a big dummy!! Waaaaaah I didn't win!! Waaaaah my team only knows how to set up a car that can run without another car in front of it because Im an arrogant prick who whines when I dont lead every lap!! Waaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!"... or something like that.

Drivers show no personality and be nice, people bitch. Drivers give their opinion and are honest, people bitch. You can't have it both ways.
It's one thing to give your opinion and be honest. It's quite another to resort to childish name calling, as Kyle did here.

Mind you, I say that as a guy that has become a bit of a Kyle sympathizer (dare I say fan?) this year. I found his comments hilarious. I've finally learned to stop taking all the silly little things these guys say so seriously, which has only served to make our sport even more fun for me to watch.

I'm a fan first of all. Not a "sympathizer". The only reason you're making a stink out of it is because it's Kyle. He gave his opinion on a driver that just took out his brother. Big deal.

It's a known fact KyBu is a prick. He loves the fact that people love him or hate him, almost playing a character. To me, that equals douchebag. I think it's a product of where the Busch brothers grew up.. IMHO

Speaking of Kyle's maturity, what's up with that beard?

When did Ryan take out Kurt? Matt did that today not Ryan.

Per Jayskis...

#78-Kurt Busch kept his cool after being involved in a wreck with Ryan Newman that ended his chances of winning Sunday's Sprint Cup race at New Hampshire, but his younger brother didn't.

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt.

Abraham Lincoln

Kyle and a few other drivers(yes Tony as well) need to remember that sometimes. If you're gonna speak your mind(which I encourage) at least make sure you're right.

Newman was an innocent bystander in that one.

Was something happening between the two during the race that I missed 'cause I was wondering who Newman was referring to when he was talking about restarts? I don't know if I missed it or TNT failed to show it - either one is as possible as the other

I've seen that video a lot and still don't know what happened . Matt was real upset with Kurt for overdriving (divebombing) the corners and not being able to control his car . You can see that he blew by Matt late in the corner then had to push up in front of him and into Ryan . Matt said he didn't hit Kurt (although the air was likely taken off Kurt's spoiler) . Ryan was really pissed at Kurt for wrecking him. So if you look at the video again with that in mind , it's hard to see why this one wasn't entirely Kurts fault.

I meant between Busch .5 and Newman. As for the wreck, Kenseth could've cut him some slack but didn't.

Normally I'd agree with the "y'all are just mad 'cause it's Kyle" defense. I've even used it once or twice this year. However, I think almost anyone that makes a silly statement like that is gonna get called on it. Yes, Kyle's history of saying and doing silly things makes him subject to more scrutiny than most, but honestly, he has no one to blame for that but himself.

As for the wreck, I guess the argument on Kyle's side is that Newman pinched Kurt down? Ehh. Possibly. But Matt coming up from behind and pushing Kurt certainly exacerbated the situation.

I'm still not seein that Ryan of Matt could've prevented the accident . Looked to me like one of those 8 tires corner better than 4 tires deals.

It looks like KuBu got out of the gas after getting in over his head as Newman was blowing by him on the outside.

KyBu must be upset with Newman for his comments about the #18 after the wreck.

Andy ridiculing someone for being immature? Ironically hilarious!

Newman generally races like a dick. Kyle just said to the media what pretty much every other driver has said over their scanners over the past several years.

But don't act like you guys don't love that Kyle said this. Between Danica making a mistake and Kyle spouting off you people have something to whine about all for 2 weeks! woo hoo!

I didn't see anything like that, we must have seen different post race interviews.

Posts like this make it difficult to defend you. Perhaps we can chalk this up to you being frustrated by the 22 dropping out of Chase contention the past couple of weeks.

How is that accident at all Kurt's fault? Kurt passed Kenseth on a track that is hard enough to pass at, much more with these new cars. Kenseth could have easily backed off a little and tried to catch him in the next turn. There was more than enough time left in the race, including a whole 'nother round of pit stops, to get to the front. Kenseth spun Kurt out of frustration, as you saw Menard to do Gordon, and it took out 2 cars. Matt has been known to spin people out just for passing him. Bristol comes to mind when Gordon passed him & Kenseth dumped him in the next corner.

As for the KyBu vs Newman comment, as a soccer player I was always told to keep the animosity at another player on the field. So outside the track keep your cool bro, when it comes time to race give 'em hell.

Yeah I am thinking Kyle is more upset with Newman's comments after the wreck about being knocked around by a few drivers and I believe "the 18" was one of them he mentioned.

I'm a fan of Kyle but he either didn't see the wreck, doesn't want to throw his teammate under the bus or he's an idiot.

It's just an opinion ,but it's based on the statements by both Matt and Ryan . Both were really mad at Kurt for causing the incident . Both said that Kurt couldn't make that corner at the speed he was going. I am quite happy to defend Kurt ,even when nobody else will , but he may have overdriven the entry to that corner. He certainly flew by Matt , going into the corner and Matt was one of the faster cars all day. Just sayin.

By all means, let's make the sport more vanilla. Without stupid comments from some of these guys, just how boring would this sport be? Hell, this forum would whither away and die.

Imo the incident was a racing deal. It was equal parts Kurt and Matt's fault, but Ryan was just a bystander.

I'm not sure what Kyle was thinking, but am I the only one who remember that Kyle was pissed at Ryan last year for dumping him at Kansas? There may have been left over feelings from that...or something...

the incident was much like Kentucky. Busch drove hard into corner and up accross Matt's nose. Matt could have let up, but felt no need to. wreck happens. this time Kurt got wrecked.
