I can sort of see his point, but I mean at the same time if I could make $50 dollars an hour I would be happy, on top of what I'm making as a driver. From that house that Larson bought back in 2014, I'm sure he's well well off on money, surely now since that was 3 years ago and he's improved since then and probably making even more money, or will be soon. That said, it's not like he does or says stuff like this often. But yeah, 50 bucks in an hour isn't bad at all.

It's exactly how he came up. There are a bunch of old timers in here begging for yester-year and the days where Richard turned the wrench on his own car. Get with it, it's 2017 and these mega stars haven't turned a wrench on their cars in over 20 years. Kyle's twitter comments are bot going to ruin any aspect of his career. Look at the landscape of American sports. If you are talented you can get away with almost anything. The good ole boys network of NASCAR is no different. A bunch of pissing and moaning about absolutely nothing from a bunch of people simply reading a perspective in under 150 characters. Most of whom, have zero direct knowledge or contact with the person.

I am an old timer and miss many of the positive things in society from yesteryear but also appreciate so many of the positive things from today. With respect to Larson's comments it is not an issue of whether he is being truthful or not but one of why he said it. Larson is looking at things from the perspective of how it impacts him without thought to others and good or bad most people take exception to people they perceive as selfish and that is how he came off. If he doesn't want to be criticized he needs to put down his electronic babysitter and do something else.

And maybe what you posted is the main reason Nascar is losing so many viewers and attendance.......

I think we see things the same way as it is difficult to listen to a wealthy young man engaged in a profession he loves bitch about having to perform a duty for 50 bucks an hour. I dare say someone in your family told you that "you have to accept the bad with the good" and that is probably what rankles you about what Larson said.

I think folks like you and I are grateful for what we have and try and do right by those we come across so when we hear some young millionaire whining because he is not getting paid enough for his autographs it doesn't sit well with us.

I was surprised that Nascar itself only got like 1 %. I think each driver should have his own trailer if he wants, his own designs and swag, make the driver pay the juice to the tracks for set up space. But get the rest of them out of it. A lot of them don't need a big azz semi, a 5th wheel rig would do when they are running up and down the east coast mostly.

I agree that NASCAR needs to pay drivers more for the use of their name and likeness, but to say it's not worth it to sign autographs is a dick move. Signing autographs isn't about how much money you are making off of mercy. It's about how much time and effort those people are putting into being fans of yours.

For someone who has two wins in cup, he's getting mighty big for his britches.
