Loudon Race Thread

LOL @you going back weeks to find that.

They weren't fast enough and still they are making mistakes that keep them from truely competiting so congratulations on digging weeks old posts that mean nothing.

I thank you for your dedicated time to me.

My opinion was spot on. Where'd your guy finish today? (Just wondering why we didn't see the interview)

Of course you would turn this into a Gordon debate when he wasn't even i the picture.

This is about Kyle mouthing off which he DID. Come to grips already.

It was more like "Sometimes you get those magic cars". Kyle built a reputation of not giving other drivers credit, and he did flirt with that today. Hinting he may have roughed Matt up if he had gotten to him showed his frustration. In the post race interviews, he went so far as to say matt got a lucky win last week, then caught himself and admitted he spun his tires and gave it away.

He handled it well. We'll see how it goes as this plays out. I know for sure it would kill him to lose to the guy he himself said he got to come over to Gibbs. Same thing happened to Jeff with JJ, and it has to have a guy questioning himself.

But I think every drivers knows, teammate or not, Kyle is gonna rough you up if that means getting to Victory Lane. Especially with a championship in sight.

They were fast enough, Gordon lost it to something stupid on pit road again. They've had plenty of good runs this year get pissed away because of a multitude of stupid things happening in the pits.

Was Gordon in the race today? I didn't see him. Damn Time Warner Cable

Is an easier pill to swallow if you're Jeff though. He technically owns the 48 team and when he retires he's probably going to assume some type of ownership in the Hendrick Org.

Fair enough. I sometimes say things about Gordon this or Gordon that but I have a bigger beef with his crew.

That bunch are amateurs man.

To be fair to the crew, Jeff messed up sliding through his pit box on that initial stop that shuffled them back to the 20s, and he just never recovered.

It was just bad luck. Story of his season - of his last couple of seasons, really. It is what it is.

Matt Kenseth is the 12th different driver to win in the last 12 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Gordon definitely had a top 5 car. Had a mistake in the pits too late & with a gen 6 car that doesn't pass in dirty air his day was done. Certainly had speed but Lady Luck gave him the cold shoulder. It's still anyone's game. Matt has had a wonderful start though. Excited to see how the final 8 plays out

Technically part owner, most likely a small part.

What makes you think Jeff will assume part ownership in HMS when he retires from driving?

You know something we don't?

I think Jeff would rather be remembered as a winner than an owner.. If not for NASCAR allowing a 13th spot, he would testing set ups for the other 3 HMS drivers whose chase birth was legit

Kyle didn't need to lead, he finished second. Did Kyle need NASCAR to step in and give him the "13th" spot in the 12 man Chase? :D

Oh you just keep going above and beyond dont you?

Still waiting on dat answer. Did Gordon lead or not?

Just assumptions on my part.

He also has a stake on his own #24.

Don't get me wrong, I'm just twisting the knife in you Gordon fans. Gordon is an amazing driver and still a threat in any race. I have WAY more respect for Jeff Gordon than I have for JJ. No hard feelings, just roughing you guys up a little. :)

Well he's already remembered as that. Already a shoe in for the HOF, there is not much to do other than expand your horizon.

Don't apologize. The "Jeff didn't finish well enough to warrant any airtime" crack made me laugh. lol

Ah man, c'mon. That takes the fun out of it. :D
