Martinsville Speedway Pre-Race Thread

Don't get the GodFarther Moody toppings and treatments.Overpriced and cooked with enough extra grease to ensure your hot dog has an afterbirth coating. You will be full of enough shiet after eating it to fart torture your friends on the long ride home, and probably even start a few fights in the grandstands.

It is treated like a behind the counter product and not listed on the menu board to prevent upsetting the insurance providers.
Greg never change!!!! You are a big reason this place is enjoyable

Is that the one that comes with crab and grouse, served on a deathbed bun?

I've got to get there. I mean dogs are all great...but it sounds like we are talking Xfinity dogs to Cup. Next level.
Martinsville is a time warp man. Seriously, but in a good way to me. When I go there, it makes me feel like I’m at Orange County or South Boston in the 80s as a kid. Retro to the core, including the 1979 mobile home looking bathrooms under the front stretch. 🤣

Have fans asked for shorter races, hoping it'll create more excitement? Just curious. I don't know if it is very noticeable, but I was kind of bummed when I saw it was only 400 laps
I’m fine with it for the spring race. Which is usually more mundane than the playoff race.

500 laps is a long time.

I love the character, I hope it never changes anymore than it already has....

Several typical Chicago dogs that even the gangsters are known to enjoy.

It's somewhat of a veggie dog with tomato, raw chopped onion, sweet relish, dill pickle, and "sport" peppers.

Mustard is optional but ketchup is taboo.

The powdery stuff sprinkled on top of the raw chopped onion is celery salt.

Looks interesting, but if those peppers are hot... no can do. My stomach is not up to any hot spice.

Me too.

They put the peppers on top for easy removal.

Line the bun with a slice of pepper jack to keep the liquids from soaking the bun. Mustard, chili, and hot sauce are mandatory. Options include slaw, pimento cheese, salsa, or pickled jalapenos. Ketchup may be snuck in the back door but barbeque sauce is verboten.

YES!!!! P1!!

We'll see what happens. Single lap in practice and 10 lap average were absolute dog****. Just put it together and get a top 15
I'll be surprised if Almirola doesn't drop like a rock. I think Preece can hold his own if they can be mistake free he could get a decent finish.

Grew up on this and Italian Beef sandwiches (deep dish & gyros too). Every trip back home is worth 10 lbs.

Way ****** in to veggies on my dog. This point right here. I think if you put veggies on there, the condiments become redundant and/or insignificant.

I swear if they do like the trucks and have a 20 minute parade with rain tires on and lights flashing they haven't learned a thing.
