MENARD!! Wins Indy!!!

What I could do has nothing to do with anything. What about Paul Menard made you confident that he would ever win a race?

The fact he's been running good this year. He's had some great finishes this year and he's 14th in points. That's higher up then some of the other full time drivers so I don't see how he could be the worst.

He hasnt been running good this year.

I'm pretty sure I did. Stop the hate he won the Brickyard that's more then you could ever do.

Exactly. Regardless of how much his family has put into his racing career, there are racing families all over the world that dump money into their kids racing career. Now somehow, it's a bad thing?

And really Andy, the least talented one? Really?! He started today 17th in points. How the hell can you spew such negativity towards drivers like that?

He started today 19th in points.

Which is evident that you can put a mediocre driver in a great car and they'll do decent.

The best drivers are 1-4 and 7th in points right now.

14th in points. Better then Kasey Kahne,David Ragan,A.J. Allmendinger,Mark Martin,Joey Logano, etc etc...Should I go on? Juan Montoya,Brad Keselowski, and even Jeff Burton who has the same equipment as Paul.

I will once again point out...6 top tens in 20 races, 12 finishes of 16th or worse in 20 races, and an average finish of 20th. He was 19th in points before today. That is not a "good year".

Kahne, Logano, Keselowski are all very overrated. Burton's past his prime, Jesus couldn't win in the ****ty cars Hendrick's giving Mark Martin (because they're trying to get Junyer to win A race). Allmendinger's equipment doesn't come close to RCR equipment.

Yes, go on, rub it in. Menard has been fairly solid this year, I love it that he's ahead of whats his face, french toast.

and I will once again point out 14th in points. Doesn't matter where someone is when the race starts if so Denny would have been the champion last year.

14th in points, so far, is a good year at this level of competition.
These are arguably the best drivers in the world. 14th best in the world in a Cup car...?

Before today, he was behind...all of them except Martin and Labonte, two guys in the twilights of their careers. They all have a better average finish than Menard too.

And once again I will point out, even before today started, he's ahead of 40+ other drivers, many of them in top equipment. And yes, this does include your wonder boy Brian Vickers, who only has 5, yes five, top-tens.

You have an excuse for everything don't you? All that matters is 14th in points until the end of the next race and that he won also.

congrats to paul. :) he's a better driver than i thought he was before coming to rcr.

And if the Chase started tomorrow he would be in it.I think.

Eight years in top tier equipment (across ARCA, Nationwide and Cup), about time he lucked in to one win.

Even Tim George, Jr. lucked in to a win in RCR equipment.

I don't think I'd call that a luck win, if it was so lucky why couldn't Gordon catch him.

I"ll once again point out that is better than half of all the other top 43 drivers, so what is your point exactly?

That's always annoyed me. "if i had one more lap, blah blah..." He didn't. The race ended precicely when it diid, and Gordon didn't catch him.

Its right up there with if so and so didn't crash he would have won the race.
