At one time I would have agreed with Stewart's 2007 assessment of Menard.
The time frame matters, and in 2011 to Paul's Credit he has improved a lot. Give him credit for wanting to and becoming better.


Another thing about Menard is he doesn't get caught up in petty feuds or display immaturity. Contrast him to Steven Wallace to see the difference.


The older I get the less I can hate, but I still try. If the Lord gives me the strength, I am going to humbly try and double down the hate on Wallace, and leave Paul alone. Menard has made it into the inner circle of trust and worthiness.

facts are facts. and tony usually tells it straight. but...

john menard has shopped around his sponsor dollars to every car owner. and i can't think of any that have passed it up. it took childress and the crew chief's fuel mile strategy to put paul in victory lane. congrats to all. if nothing else, you have to appreciate that the victory came at a venue that has meant so much to the family.

Yeah good old Tony Stewart.....he is unable to censor his mouth...he thinks it and it comes out in anger. You will never be respected for that.

What did he call David Ragan?.....a dart without feathers wasn't it.
...And didnt Ragan just get his first win also?

Now I'll bet drivers a lining up for Stewart to ridicule them as it is obviously a good omen....Lol :D
