Monster Energy Girls address 'disheartening' NASCAR fan controversy in video

Any of these same people complain about this?

These women aren't showing anything more than what you would see at many venues, whether a state fair or concert. Heaven forbid anybody would go near a beach. They would have a heart attack.

Make NASCAR prudish again

Being female, these girls don't do anything for me. That said, I don't see where they are so scantly clad. I would even say they are well covered.

Exactly. They are wearing yoga pants(gods gift to the 21st century) for cryin out loud...

People must hate basketball and football due to dancers and cheerleaders also..

If the Monster girls are the only thing getting young people to show up at the track (I don't think they are) this sport is more ****** than I ever imagined.
That moron's part should have been eliminated. Didn't do much for validating their presence, if it needs it. They are nice to look at but just remember, somewhere, some guy is putting up with her ****.

Look at Linda Vaughn........ Miss Hurst..... she.... singlehandedly was the best marketing tool Hurst had.... she was at every event for decades.... anyone who just had a passing relationship to Drag racing knew her name and recognized her immediately.
I had the pleasure of meeting Linda at a car show in 2001. What a nice lady.

I wish you'd have quit after the first two sentences. You had to trot out that 'sour grapes' cliche guys tell each other when they know they have no chance at even making a pitch to a woman.

That was what really troubled me as I am not saying the Monster girls shouldn't be a bonus for some attending Nascar events but to not show up if they are not present speaks to a shallowness that scares the crap out of me.

lol the nascar can count it's lucky stars monster took the bait and sponsored this dieing sport (nascar as a body not racing as a whole). Be careful what you wish for if you drive monster away you might just finish nascar off..

NASCAR can survive without monster's 20m investment, I'm sure.

Maybe the offended should attend grand march at their local high school prom . I seen more skin there than the ME Nascar girls at Daytona.

The season is still young but if current trends hold I would be surprised to see Monster stick around after 2018. If things do improve and a younger demo emerges I could see them sticking around for another cheapie 2 year deal. One thing we we know for sure is that Nascar needs Monster far more than the other way around.

I find a lot of irony in your post that Nascar needs Monster more than Monster needs Nascar..... I think that's true. Remember when Nascar was so high and mighty and ****y ........ that's what they always told drivers who dared question them... Kinda' funny how Karma always comes around to bite you in the butt......

Thinkin' they're still in that position with the drivers.

Title sponsors - ain't thinkin' so.

Bring on the dancin’ Monster Girls!

Not sure the problem is with the Girls more than it is with NASCAR. Since NASCAR has long proclaimed to be a family sport with family values it appears to be a bit of a hypocrite move to allow controversially dressed women to be at the race track. IMO this is what some people are upset about. Maybe im wrong.

Over the years Nascar has had a lot of incongruities as they have preached family values and have slapped themselves with a veneer of Christianity and patriotism but it is all for show.

Could you explain what's controversial about the way they're dressed? As others have pointed out, young women wear much skimpier clothing in the 'real world'. As mentioned in the video, cheerleaders for other sports wear clothing with less fabric. Certainly more skin is shown at beaches and pools.

That is harsh. I doubt that you can support that assertion??? Perhaps you have seen the heartwarming soldier-reunites-with-surprised-family deals that have been pulled off at Nascar tracks, NFL games, NHL games, etc. Except that it emerged about two years ago that NFL and NHL teams were *selling* those deals for big bucks, charging substantial promotional fees to the military organizations that were working to honor and celebrate the soldiers and their families. The NFL had to issue new memos and write a bunch of checks, trying to wipe the shame away. I presume the NHL also ended the practice. Maybe it was "all for show" in the stick-and-ball leagues, but not Nascar.

Do you want any of you goats back or can I sell them on for a profit?

People don't understand that the girls need to get a return on their investment in those silicone pontoons.
