Montoya expected to be announced as third Penske driver in Brickyard 400

Juan More Problem Montoya shouldn't just be handed a free ride, he's already proved that his skill's in NASCAR were barely above Damnica's.

-_- 2 wins 9 poles 59 top 10s and a chase appearance in 2009

Danica has 1 top 10 and 1 pole in 55 races, while driving superior equipment. Move along troll :dual9mm:

Wouldn't call him a troll. He just hasn't done his research

Where've you been, man...he finished 8th in points.

Seriously? Haha

He was such an afterthought I couldn't even remember. Or maybe that particular year was dog****.

Looking at the points for that year. Even Vickers made it. Holy crap.

He was actually 2nd in the points at the midway point of the chase. He was a legit title threat that year, but he didn't win a race

This was pure satire, I'll draw little laughing faces and all that good stuff just in case you can't comprehend it next time.:-(

So you think he has a shot at winning it then.?
Gotcha.

He should be in a no pressure situation considering he's not trying to save his job or team. I'd say the Glen is definitely in his reach, the Brickyard will be a tough call. I haven't followed the press on this so it's really hard to have any incite.

I hope he does well and he shouldn't have any pressure like you say.
I believe he's going to run Michigan as well although I haven't seen it mentioned here.
The Glen is certainly more suited to his style.

He can go for broke wherever he's going to race and this should make it interesting, and yes, the Glen could be his best day.

Damn he had four consecutive top 5 finishes in the chase, plus other top 5's. What the hell happened to him after that season?

I think I can say with a high level of certainty that he'll be getting into the best Cup car he's ever been in with Penske.

Given how stout the Penske cars have been this year, and Juan's past performances at Indy; I'd say he stands as good a chance as he ever has to win the thing. Should be interesting to see what happens.
