I love short track racing (Taylor's Version)
NASCAR would be rocking if they had races like this 20 times a year. The Bristol Night Race is great again.

Iowa isn't a short track. It's a Brob that dresses up as a short track.Kansas race for Iowa and IMS for Eldora and we'd have some decent compromise.
Iowa isn't a short track.
Said it in the race thread, but without the VHT this place is still “new bristol”. This track needs the bottom lane to be fast for it to be exciting.Maybe tonight's race will keep people from bitching for "the old Bristol" for awhile.
What’s a Brob?Iowa isn't a short track. It's a Brob that dresses up as a short track.
Indianapolis Raceway Park, Kern County, South Boston, Myrtle Beach, Nashville, Knoxville, Toledo, New Smyrna, Five Flags. So what "NASCAR" ready facility IS a short track, then?
Brobdingnagian.What’s a Brob?
I have zero idea what that isBrobdingnagian.

I would like to see at least one Cup race at Iowa, but I do think it will be much like Richmond in terms of the racing action. If xfinity can race at Iowa, why can’t the cup series?
I think Richmond’s second date would be a better race if it was pushed to later in the season.I would like to see at least one Cup race at Iowa, but I do think it will be much like Richmond in terms of the racing action.
I think you are right .I think Richmond’s second date would be a better race if it was pushed to later in the season.
While at it, make Martinsville the finale.I think Richmond’s second date would be a better race if it was pushed to later in the season.
Eh, I think Homestead is a good medium and does provide solid racing. While at it, make Martinsville the finale.
Armenian.What’s a Brob?
I’ll get called an idiot but here goes: trade one Kansas date, Texas, Vegas and New Hampshire for: Wilkesboro, Rock, Nashville Fairgrounds, South Boston and Iowa. It needs to happen, all over social media it’s buzzing right now how awesome tonight was, the sport needs to go back to these places because these tracks suite it the best. Forget your talk about aero packages, sponsorships, and attendance woes. I’d take a gamble going back to places like these, tonight was so cool. Capitalize on it
Neither are any of the other short tracks being mentioned.and they have time, the schedule won’t change until 2020 anyways. Shouldn’t that be enough time to make it ready?North Wilkesboro and Rockingham are not NASCAR ready at all, unfortunately.
North Wilkesboro is barely a race track at this point, while I would love for NW to come back, its never gonna happen, its time, as that bitch from Frozen says, let it go.North Wilkesboro and Rockingham are not NASCAR ready at all, unfortunately.
Rockingham is not a short track but it has the facilities.North Wilkesboro and Rockingham are not NASCAR ready at all, unfortunately. Texas, Vegas, Kansas could all stand to lose a race. Even the Charlotte Roval for a real road course.
Rockingham is not a short track but it has the facilities.
It's not dead yet.North Wilkesboro is barely a race track at this point, while I would love for NW to come back, its never gonna happen, its time, as that bitch from Frozen says, let it go.

Rusty Wallace is a minority owner in the track. If xfinity can race at Iowa, why can’t the cup series?
It’s not ready now.....but what if it had until 2020 when the schedule might under go a change? Couldn’t almost two years make it ready?North Wilkesboro is barely a race track at this point, while I would love for NW to come back, its never gonna happen, its time, as that bitch from Frozen says, let it go.

Its about as dead as a track can get, but maybe you know something I don't.It's not dead yet.
Are we talking logically or fan fiction ?It’s not ready now.....but what if it had until 2020 when the schedule might under go a change? Couldn’t almost two years make it ready?
I thought the schedule contracts are up in 2020, so everything might be renegotiated You’ve posted with me, you know I don’t deal with fan fictionAre we talking logically or fan fiction ?
LmaoAll this talk is crazy. It needs to be a track owned by them French people, otherwise it ain't a la premiere enough for Nascar.
