Haha no thanks man, I'm not an Apple guy. I run Linux/*BSD for my desktop and servers, Windows for my gaming computers and the ones I do video editing on (tied into it because of the software I rely on).

My current phone is an early Android, I would ditch it but I'm grandfathered into a $25 a month unlimited data/voice/txt pre-paid deal. Phone doesn't have a sim card so I can't carry it over to a new one. As soon as I upgrade I lose my cheap plan.

I'm probably going to just get a new phone and keep this one as well. I am searching for one with a slide out keyboard, I'm old school and I just won't compromise on not having a proper keyboard with buttons.

I don't know if you could hear it on tv or not but the biggest cheers kubu got was when he talked about beating jj. Everybody jumped up and cheered like crazy when he passed him too, fans or not. Oddly enough, even 2 jj fans sitting close to me!

There was this one guy far to the left of me who'd stand up and flip jj off every single time he passed in front of him. I started looking back
every few laps or so for awhile and there he'd be.

I'll upload some of my pictures tomorrow i guess. I may have some good ones since they put victory lane right in front of us.

And let me say: FINALLY, I got to go to a race this year that didn't feature rain as the main attraction. I was about to think I was bringing bad luck.

Sad Gordon didn't win and my fantasy team got all jacked up but a great race overall and I'm happy for Kurt.

Oh I will, I buy all my phones out right. My current one is rooted and I use it for a hotspot in a pinch (not supposed to but screw 'em ;)). I stay away from those contracts that come with a phone, I know I'm just getting screwed over on that deal.

The end of the race was great for sure. I know what you mean about everyone pulling against Jimmy at the end, everyone sitting around us were going nuts.

Where were you sitting at? We had a guy flipping off Jimmy by us as well.

BTW did anyone else see the dude sporting the 10-gallon hat made out of two cases of Bud Light?

My rooted s4 is the best phone Ive ever had, by far and I'd say, best on the market.

I think I was to the left of you, according to your video. I was on the start/finish line about a dozen rows up.

I was in turn 1, section BB 25 rows up. You guys had a good show from your seats I'm betting, there was a lot of action down in turn 4 today.

Shame I didn't know y'all were so close to us. We would have shared some beers with you! ;)

I like the S4, my father got one a month or so ago and it's really nice. My main beef with cell phones right now is that you can't find a decent one with a real keyboard. I'm waiting around until a good one comes out. I just can't stand typing with a touch screen.

I'm sorry but no. I'm an iPhone guy and a PC user, but if you're looking for battery life on a smart phone go with an android. iPhone's battery life on medium-heavy use, especially the 4s, is horrid. Mine doesnt even last half the day using it for college. And thats just texting friends, taking small notes and setting reminders in the calendar.

I know man, fans need someone to hate. Just thought it might be the same guy because we had a couple near us that were all hyped up. I love those type of fans, half the fun of begin there in person is watching the fans cheer on their favorite driver. :D

My 4s gets great battery life. I get 10 times as much battery on it as I did on my Android phone.

Phones with keyboards, like flip phones, are beginning to be a thing of the past. Good luck finding a good one.

Blackberry makes a touchscreen phone with a physical keyboard. I loved my Blackberry but needed to get with the crowd of more advanced smartphone users haha. Use whatever you're happy with :)

Only people who use BBs are the suits.

I never did get used to the tight keyboard on them. God awful to type with.

I used to think I could never go without the physical keyboard but now if I try to go back and use it I type like 10 words per minute lol

I use a BB Torch as I also prefer a physical keyboard. But the main reason is that I often find myself in areas with borderline coverage and other than the old, old, old Nokia's, it'll get signal better than any other phone I've seen.

Man, are we off topic or what :eek: LOL

One thing I noticed yesterday. Kurt got on the roof in victory lane. I recall a few years ago, after some controversy about a winner's car being too low or something, that NASCAR banned drivers from getting on the roof post-race. I wonder if there will be some sort of stupid fine or penalty coming from it (which would be the mother of all stupid penalties if it were to happen)

I don't remember if they have a rule against it or not any more but if they still do then they wouldn't have much choice.
 
Anyone notice the lack of S&P's yesterday? No, probably not. The last place car ran 310 laps before crashing out. Interesting, I thought.

That was great. Brad and his spotter messed up on keeping track of who would be pitting. Mainly Brad, because he had to know Kasey was in front of him and intending to pit. One think I'm not sure about is Kez said Kasey had the pit box in front of him, so maybe Kasey missed his box and stopped instead of passing thru. Sure Kurt could have eased off a tad and given Brad a break and they wouldn't have lost much time. IMO, when there was contact, Kurt gassing up and driving thru the 2 was a punk move.

People are whining that Brad tried to wreck kurt, but Brad CLEARLY avoids wrecking him. He planted his left front tire on Kurts door, where there is NO chance of turning him. When Kurt grinds by, Brad moves right so he doesn't catch Kurts rear quarter, which would have turned Kurt to the wall. It's shocking how many nascar fans just don't understand the obvious difference between roughing a guy up and wrecking him.

Props to both for the post race banter. VERY entertaining.
