NASCAR 2012 – BOLD Prediction Thread

No, none of that here. Updating that thread got extremely difficult when the edit feature was removed. I was using that to cut/paste it properly but it doesn't work as smoothly grabbing it after it's been posted.

All of the winners will be posted into a poll that I'll leave open until the awards banquet. Maybe, if we're lucky, we can have Howie announce the winner. :cool:
 
I'm quickly running out of time, and see pretty much NO hope of mine happening.
 
Earnhardt Jr. has to win out for me. I'll be more than happy to lose if I could at least have one more win this season.
 
If I could change mine to Kenseth and Gordon battle it out for 5th, I'd be in good shape.
 
MWR's amazing year caught me by surprise . Kyle and Carl being kept out of the chase by MWR ?...come on.
 
Well I'm out Kasey can only win 4 if he sweeps the rest of the year, though I feel good on top 5 in points.

I knew that I may catch crap over that one but he has been relieved of his duties of running that car so I kinda looked at that as being the same. That's another reason that this is all opened up to a vote after Homestead. I figure that the people that share your opinion on that will simply not vote on that as being the most BOLD prediction.

He didn't move to Furniture Row until October 13th. His last ride for Kyle was June 29th. I don't think one had anything to do at all with the other.

I know that I open myself up to criticism running any of these games/contests but that comes with the territory. There will be others that are not going to agree with me on that decision either. I want to keep this a fun game to play and I think that it's been that the past couple of years. I was lucky enough to win this thing last year with my Paul Menard win prediction. Who would have thought? I really think that the final vote will take care any disagreements on this prediction or any of the other predictions.
 
It is fun. I'm not taking it too seriously. I think you may need to wait until after the awards to sort out the Chad retiring prediction. It'll give use something to do in the off season.

I hear ya but our season only runs until the Homestead checkered flag. I said as much in the first post in this thread. I'll probably start the voting the Monday or Tuesday after. Hunting starts here in PA on that Monday.

It's the hypocrisy of Hamlin that gets me. He gets all upset over Austin racing him hard but yet at Martinsville he knocked Crafton out of the way to win the truck race. I guess it's just good racing when he does it but anyone else it's wrong.

I can't find them. When told what Denny said, Austin smiled and said "Those are good comments for him, if he want's to think like that. I'll take the high road".

Denny way over reacted to a little rub from Dillon. There was no need to run him into the wall, even though there was no reason for Dillon to be mad in the first place. There was so much wrong with all of that.

Denny didn't make Dillon loose, the car on the outside did. Dillon being mad and Denny. Denny running him hard into the wall. Everyone in the RCR clan confronting Denny, except Austin. Denny's comments. The whole thing was like a bunch of children throwing tantrums over nothing at all.
