Must be uncomfortable for Jeff to sit in that booth for hours at a time after straddling that fence.

I support this. I know racing is loud and I don't want the cars to sound like street cars on the track but knocking the edge off a little wont hurt a thing. I have slight hearing loss from my years at the track and inside a car.
