Interested to see what BJ can do in that Spire truck, probably the best ride he's been in

I can't think of any sport where the college a driver attended (if any) has less impact on his professional performance. Only a handful have motorsports programs, and those are usually under the Engineering department.

And even one of those engineers thinks the moon landing was fake.

I basically don't get the sports media's obsession with which college a pro player attended. Some guy's been in the NBA for 12 years and ESPN still thinks it's relevant he went to East Bumphuque Tech for a year or two. In this day of loosened rules allowing college athletes to change schools almost at leisure, which of an athlete's several schools is the one the networks associate with him?

I mean players are even making it a joke, when they do intros during football games some of them have just started saying their high school or elementary school.

The 07 truck that Lajoie will be in is 9th in Truck owner points. I would imagine the people at Spire want to better that position with the playoffs coming up. They need a full time Truck driver for 7 of the last Truck races. They can't use Cup drivers for playoff races, they are excluded.
