Fortunately, Taylor wasn't dominantly fast. These numbers don't look like he'll be a runaway.Rodney Sandstorm fastest in practice.

I suspect he made like a qualifying run. He just appeared out of nowhere on the lap counter chart at the end of practice.Fortunately, Taylor wasn't dominantly fast. These numbers don't look like he'll be a runaway.
5 Cup- 2 Legacy and 3 23XI and 20 Xfinity starts so far.Someone needs to get Heim into a Cup car. Give him a season or two and he’d be a regular contender in a good car.
The next great Mike Skinner.Someone needs to get Heim into a Cup car. Give him a season or two and he’d be a regular contender in a good car.
I miss the days when the Truck Series was more of a journeyman's showcase and less of a developmental stairstep. The next great Mike Skinner.
Watching that I'm almost relieved it's "just" a broken pelvis and a broken leg. That could've been a lot worse.Looks like the worst part is when another car tagged him.
One would have to think he'd get a waiver for thisAssuming he misses significant time, as I would imagine he will, this opens a spot in the truck playoffs.
One would have to think he'd get a waiver for this
Dude his pelvis and his leg are broken into pieces he won't be ready to compete in the playoffs that start in four weeks. One would have to think he'd get a waiver for this
Probably pointless. With a broken pelvis, the playoffs will be well underway before he's ready to drive again. One would have to think he'd get a waiver for this
I get that, but if he somehow is able to race I can't see him not getting a waiverProbably pointless. With a broken pelvis, the playoffs will be well underway before he's ready to drive again.
Clearly, you do not.I get that, but …
I’m not going to be surprised if we’ve seen him make his final truck start. He has been very vocal about his frustration with the style of racing in trucks the past year or two.Watching that I'm almost relieved it's "just" a broken pelvis and a broken leg. That could've been a lot worse.
I hope Stewat can make a full recovery and we'll see him back in the trucks next year.
This wreck was like a cross between Bodine and Newman’s Daytona crashes. I watch big block racing a lot and it’s definitely the worst one in a big block I’ve seen in a long time, maybe ever.Looks like the worst part is when another car tagged him.
A broken pelvis takes 3-6 months to heal and up a year before the person can return to normal activities. I wouldn't consider racing normal activity and he will probably not be ready for Daytona next year let alone the playoffs this year.I get that, but if he somehow is able to race I can't see him not getting a waiver
Yeah I haven't seen one that was that bad before, your exactly right with what it looked like. This wreck was like a cross between Bodine and Newman’s Daytona crashes. I watch big block racing a lot and it’s definitely the worst one in a big block I’ve seen in a long time, maybe ever.
Unfortunately true. He'll be doing great if he starts rehab before the season ends. Much as we all hope he races again, his rehab team will have walking as their initial goal.A broken pelvis takes 3-6 months to heal and up a year before the person can return to normal activities.
