NASCAR fans offended by Monster Girls

I wasn't offended...... but..... maybe it's because I agree...... :(
Things like religion and politics can send some over the edge and it gets really nasty.
If you feel you can't hold back, go to The Podium and create a thread.

Personally, I don't understand why a few people were complaining. The girls were decently dressed, but it looked out of place for
some reason. Maybe it's because I haven't seen the girls that much before --- I need time to associate them with NASCAR.

I just can't imagine anyone thinking these girls were dressed out of place when no one seemed to be offended years ago by the Hooters girls and all the trophy girls that we used to see... Linda Vaughn.... Miss Hurst... .......

Okay.... I'm done I guess..... You guys can hash this out as best you can....... move it to the podium and we will move on to more mundane subjects....

I for one feel a bit let down. I've seen monster girls that are the hottest of the hot, untouchable hot. These girls are great and I'm very excited about it but they don't look like the grail of the bunch.

Gawdamightee, have none of these complainers been to an auto / boat / RV show in their own towns? There are women there wearing a lot less.

After watching the Clash, my only question regarding Monster's women is, do they know anything about the sport? I know the Sprint girls did; I had the opportunity to talk about it with one of them at M'ville before a race. Do they know a jack stand from a hand stand?

LOL I remember when TNT played "Born to be Wild" during the Summer Series and there were some hot girls dancing on it. Charles Barkley snarked off saying they couldn't possibly be NASCAR fans because they had teeth and looked good.

If they can do th hand stand, plus all the yoga and gymnastic postures, a jack stand will be pointless.

The Columbia (SC) City Ballet stages a production of 'Dracula' every Halloween. Special effects, dripping blood, stakes driven through hearts, and a couple of dozen very fit young ladies wearing significantly less than trackside Monster or Hooters girls, along with a handful of beefcake. Oh, and they get to writhe and squirm too. Ah, culture. It's ballet for people who think they won't like ballet, and we rednecks eat it up. They make almost as much off it as they do the required 'Nutcracker' shows at Christmas.

I would be more than happy to show any one of them a proper jack stand.

Seriously, will Monster have the same dozen or so at the track for the entire season, or will they just swap them out every week based on what talent the closest modeling agency has available? How do they handle it in the other sports they sponsor? These girls aren't just representing Monster, they're representing the sport too. I'd like to know if they know anything more about it than go fast and turn, uh, ... left? Give Sprint that much; their firesuited girls understood the sport.

Well, FWIW, here is the former "Miss Monster" riding a 450. She kick started it too ;)

And a lot of old people who think the eye candy should be covered with burqas.

Yes they are. But the lack of eye candy on the Nascar camera was more about there own idiocy.
I remember Eva Taylor at the Southern All Pro races in the 80s. She would primp and do all types of incredible poses on the back of the pace car. It was a little one piece white leotard, high cut with leg visibility beyond the hips. And it was great.

When Nascar took over the thing with All American series the great leg shows stopped.

Nothing more than Nascars own idiicy has inhibited the great shows.

Yeah I meditated on the SCGs racing intellect all the time, how did I miss that. Think I will try tovgoogle up their racing essays, and see what pops up.

If they're offended by that wonder what they think about some of the eye candy walking around the coke 600 in the summer time

Great point. Hypocrisy in a sport famous for activities with bead necklaces in a certain Alabama infield.

I'll always remember this smokin' brunette at Darlington, wearing a checkered-flag pattern cropped Spandex tank top, matching sprayed-on hot pants, holding hands with her identically dressed ... toddler daughter.

I don't think the criticism is coming from inside the sport. Some upstanding citizens caught a glimpse of cleavage and bare shoulders and went on Twitter rants that Trump himself envies.

I understand. I meant hypocrisy on the part of the fans (if they are actually fans).

Monster girls at Supercross are very involved. They did the track reporting and interviews the last race I watched. I wouldn't be opposed to that in NASCAR.

I used the phrase 'inside the sport' as meaning to include fans. I don't think fans are the source. Anyone who's been to the track has encountered similarly dressed young women giving out product samples, coupons, offering prizes in exchange for your contact information, etc.

Stupid question from someone who's never been on a motorized two-wheeled vehicle of any kind: what's the significance of her kick-starting it? Is there another way to start one, especially a racing one?

Bonus stupid question for extra points: I assume 450 refers to engine size. Is that considered large, small, or in the middle?

Not that I know of for the dirt bikes. The racing versions prob harder to start with higher compression.

And yes, the 450 is the largest motor of the motor cross series sponsored by Monster.

... The racing versions prob harder to start with higher compression. ...
So kick starting isn't easy? "It looks like it in the movies!" Smaller engines are easier to start than larger ones?

This is all solely an academic exercise. I don't expect to ever find myself applying this knowledge.
