Yeah, everyone will bitch and complain about it but many will be watching it anyway. I know that we'll be watching it at my house like we always do. If it's NASCAR it's on my TV. ;)

Does anyone know what they call that Q&A session that they do with all of the Chase drivers in front of the fans? Also, when and what channel is it on?

NASCAR still botches this every year. They provide a schedule of events, but no info on media coverage. You can download the schedule of events, but it's useless unless you're in Vegas.

56 year-old Canadian comedian and TV show host Howie Mandel will host the Sprint Cup Awards on Friday. Mandel will lead NASCAR through a completely scripted sequence of events that will once again play to an empty stage. The Sprint Cup Series banquets held in Las Vegas have been a bust.

The participants in the festivities will depart from the Concord and Charlotte, NC airports and fly the 1900 miles to Nevada. It would be much easier if they just drove downtown. Charlotte is home to the NASCAR Hall of Fame and is currently working very hard to revitalize itself. The NASCAR Plaza and the Charlotte Convention Center are two key pieces of that puzzle.

· Fanfest Presented by Las Vegas Motor Speedway: The fourth annual Fanfest event will be held on Fremont Street, and begin at 2pm/pt, with the arrival of the top 12 Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup drivers. Fans can cast their vote to determine the 2012 Betty Jane France Humanitarian Award winner by visiting NASCAR.COM/award before 11:59 pm/et November 29.

Media attendance is encouraged; however, this event is not open to the public. The event will be streamed live on NASCAR.COM.
· NASCAR NMPA Myers Brothers Awards Luncheon: The annual awards luncheon and industry gathering will be held from 11am-1:15pm/pt, in the Encore Ballroom at Encore Las Vegas, where several team awards will be presented. Among those awards included are the Champion Sponsor, Champion Crew Chief, Sunoco Rookie of the Year and NMPA Most Popular Driver awards. The event will be streamed live on NASCAR.COM.
· NASCAR Victory Lap: The green flag on fan-favorite NASCAR Victory Lap will wave at 3:30pm/pt, with pre-lap festivities to begin at 3:00pm/pt, when the top 12 Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup drivers will parade down Las Vegas Blvd. in their race cars with engines roaring. Photo sure could have used ALOT of editing, powerlines, shadow in foreround, previously mentioned billboard....but then again if you've been to Vegas thats actually how it looks. Nothing like the glitz and glamour seen on tv and ads :(
