Still got Larson, Truex and Elliott left. I consider those guys A drivers this year. Jr not so much as well as Logano thus far and Kenseth (think both will turn it up here shortly) but awesome list thanks for doing thisSome of the A group are like picking a lower B or a C driver though. A 72 point lead could be extinguished in 2 races. Also a 142 point deficit (mine) could be made up in 4 races. The only 2 A listers I've used is Dale Jr. and Hamlin. Both are mid to back runners this year and I lucked out on my Hamlin pick and got a "W". The only really good B that I've used is Larson and he came in 26th which sucked. I have 7 "A's", 7 out of the top 8 "B's" and only 1 "C" left that I'm gonna use. Look out I just kicked it into overdrive. The distribution of drivers by the Yahoo Fantasy Game is obviously arbitrary but at least it's some kind of indicator as to the "strength" of each driver when reviewing who's been used, and not used, in the Pick 'Em game.
I agree that there are several B list drivers that are doing better than some of the A list drivers and, more obvious, several B list drivers (Patrick & Buescher) that should have been on the C list from the git go.
So the question, with 19 races down and 17 to go, seems to be whether @Michfan, currently with a 72 point lead, has enough "gas in the tank" to win the game this year after using all but two (Junior & Logano) of the A list drivers and most of the quality B list drivers.
In effect, the game has turned into a fuel mileage race as @Michfan tries to hold on to his huge lead and get to the finish line without running out.

Yep. It's mostly luck and wild guessing but there is some strategy involved and it's a lotta fun to see how it turns out. Like when I picked Larson at Sonoma and he came in 26th. He won the race before it at Michigan and came in second at Kentucky after it. @jpell15 won last year and I came in a pretty close second after starting slow like this year. You can't ever tell but I'm happy that @pjmolo kept it alive and well.I'm hoping and I don't think it's even very realistic to get in the top 10. I have 8 A list drivers and 8 B list drivers. This game is a blast.
Should be interesting. A huge key is putting the drivers in spots they are most likely to succeed in. I feel pretty good about where I have all of my guys slotted for. I feel like Blaney, Larson, and McMurray are basically, to go along with Logano, A drivers and the races I have the four of them slated for I expect them to compete for wins. Where I'm running Allmendinger at I really consider a green driver. I think Erik Jones is almost a borderline green driver and I love the race I have him slated for. I also have a good plan for Dillon, Kurt Busch and Suarez. The distribution of drivers by the Yahoo Fantasy Game is obviously arbitrary but at least it's some kind of indicator as to the "strength" of each driver when reviewing who's been used, and not used, in the Pick 'Em game.

The 14 car hasn't been to victory lane at Indianapolis since 1999 when Kenny Brack won the Indy 500 and the time before that was in 1977 when A.J. Foyt won his fourth 500.
Looking for Clint Bowyer to pay homage to Foyt after winning the Brickyard today . . .
