NASCAR Testing new Plate-Track Aero Package stuff

... when air gets under a car and pushes up harder than the air on top of it of the thing is pushin’ down it’s coming off the ground.

This is the core issue ... made worse by velocity squared, a factor that plays into every aerodynamic calculation that's ever been made.

they could do this if they ran real stock cars, 150 mph max
Look at an old race from the 60s and 70s from Daytona, why do you think the Superbirds where outlawed? For the most part they where runiing in the 175-185 mph range, plenty fast enough, and they were lifting in the corners....Key! So come up with an aero / engine package with the new cars that can do the same thing rather than this plate crap!

If they can show me technology that keeps a car from coming off the track, I'm all ears. You might stop some instances, but you can't prevent all of them. Too many perfect storms brewing.
Sure you can, and it's plenty easy.

Mind you, they won't be fast enough that anyone would want to drive them, much less pay to see them. Therein lies the conflict.
