Well it's been a day and a half so I guess I'll give the answer and ask another question...

NASCAR's big boys visited Meyer Speedway in Houston on June 23, 1971.

New Question - How many manufacturer's championships have been won by Pontiac?

I believe that Pontiac has 15 championships.
Unless I can't count or my data is wrong, it's a lot few Manufacturer's Championships for Pontiac.

I must have had my head where the sun does not shine when I posted that Pontiac has 15 championships. :)
Actually, I believe they have 3.

3 is the correct answer....

Again regarding manufacturer championships.
EXCLUDING Ford and Chevrolet. Which CAR MAKE has the most championships.

I have it as Curtis Turner in 1956....

So it's your turn....

I'm not sure if was a suggestion or a rule but I guess the questions were to be kept to post-1970.

Anyway, when and where did the last Nascar dirt track race take place?

9-30-70 at Raleigh and won by Richard Petty.

Questions can go back to 1949 but keep all related to Nascar Cup racing.

Sounds good. Your go.

Well, we've got a 1 in 55 shot.

I'll go with John Soares who won at Carrell Speedway in Gardena, California in 1954.

Darn right Donohue was good. He was one of the greatest, but since his efforts were cut short by the "Grim Reaper", unless you were a student of NASCAR at the time, he is not a standout nor a name one might find by combing those record books of NASCAR.
Thanks Muggle not, but I'll pass on offering the next question and throw the lead back to you. :D

Ok, an easy one. Fireball Roberts had 33 wins in his Nascar career. At which track was his first win.

Fireball's first win came on August 13, 1950 at Occoneechee Speedway in Hillsboro, North Carolina.
