Nascar Truck Racing at Iowa

Big deal. If this was Cup, it wouldn't be an issue. Slap the wrist. Move along. Nothing to see here.
But it's not Cup. They either need to start punishing repeat offenders more severely or eliminate the rule like they did in Cup.

Blatant cheating shouldn't be overlooked. I don't care if it's KBM or some back marker. They got a slap on the wrist last time, this should be harsher.

Would you be saying this if it was a Chevy/Hendrick truck?

Honestly man, I would. I'm not a hater. I am loyal, a homer, etc., etc., but not a hater. Have respect for the brand and the man.

Two slaps. I'm with ya. They have their P2, 3, 4, 78, or whatever, I'm sure that someone here will figure all of that out, and let us know what's coming. Hell of a drive by Erik Jones.

Ask the Cup teams how much the 0 Ride Height Rule has cost them this year, and then ask yourself which Truck team could afford that. It's there to limit cost. Cost was limited. Rule effective. Shock stuck. Big freakin' deal. Great drive by Erik.

If they can't change the rule then there's no sense in giving the same penalty over and over to teams who break it, incidental or not.

Blatant?

Also this was low rear. Last penalty was low front. Completely different issues.

Just got through watching race in 54 minutes. Good race. Peters coming up into Hornaday early in the race was quite stupid I thought. The race for the lead at lap 25 or so was really good, but, Blaney couldn't get it done.

wow they will take money and points. Whoope Jones is a part timer anyway. well, at any rate they will be pre inspecting with a fine tooth comb.

Huh?

Passionate Supporter of Toyota Racing Development

Oh...

....I might add that I think Chad Knaus is the most brilliant CC of all time, and that Jimmie Johnson is a living legend. In addition, NASCAR without Jack Roush would suck. In addition, Jeff Gordon is making a whole bunch of people look stupid because he is driving brilliantly. Penske engineers are gifted, and I can go on if you would like me to...... I only root for Toyota/TRD, but I have a respect and appreciation for the badasses of the sport.

My first race of any kind was '95 in Portland. I saw Al Unser Jr. drive brilliantly to win only to find out that he was stripped of his victory because of a ride height deal. Cannot tell you how much that sucked. His win was reinstated 6 months later, but it was bull****. Because of this experience, I categorically disagree with stripping anybody of a win EVER. NASCAR needs to get their **** in order with pre-race inspections, and have a rules package that gives them the flexibility to interpret those rules on a case by case basis. You know, kind of like our legal system.....without the lawyers.
