Nationwide at Darlington

So.......in the Nationwide and Truck Series when Kyle won, he was the only Cup driver in the field???
Please

Of course not and no one suggested that he was. Nor are they naive enough to believe that a NNS field is at any time equal to a cup field.

Tony Raines is lucky that was Kenseth. Had it been a dirty driver he would've been on the back of a wrecker right now.

Isn't Darlington the place where (in the old days) some guy just rode around the bottom of the track - didn't change tires - and won?
I believe it was Ned Jarrett that won the southern 500 by 17 laps years ago. Don't remember if it was saving tires or something about keeping his grill clear of all the rubber off others tires. Everybody else was overheating from no air to the radiator and had to pit constantly.
I also remember a story about a guy that won it by putting truck tires on his car and just riding around all day while everyone else had to change tires many times.

"Nationwide puts members first because they don't have shareholders" - LOL - oftentimes it's the shareholders/board of directors that keep a company in check/on an even keel...people are gullible.

Does anyone think TP will ever amount to anything in Nascar? Take out your crystal balls and look 5 years into the future.

Hey - you got the stuff and the talent - ?? - Congrats to Kyle on a smokin hot performance - obviosly the class of the field :owned:

Kyle interview (truth in parenthesis)

"It was a great race, lots of coming and going (me coming, they going)..we had some adversity in the middle of the race (we almost went to sleep)..it was a tough pass for the lead (I had to actually floor it for a minute there)".

Guess it wasn't just my imagination... that was a quick race! Lots of time left for ESPN to waste before the broadcast is supposed to end.
