Nationwide at Dover Race Thread

Name of the game is "impossible to pass". Looking forward to a 10.0 race tomorrow :rolleyes:

i really enjoyed the view of that bumper cam going around the track in today's race. i believe i like it better than the gyro-cam, that has me tilting my head left during its viewing, both are pretty cool.

I love the bumper cam, feel like they used it more often in the 90's though.
 
that thing looked as if it was a couple inches above the track. had me thinking, i wished nascar would show more in car cameras when 2 cars are running side by side instead of just out the front

It just isn't entertaining to watch the Cup guys, especially Kyle, run away with each and every race. I am tired of the Kyle and Joey show, or the Kyle and Brad show. Call me a whiner, that is fine, I am just not entertained with these two series now.

I understand where your coming from and i'm not calling you a whiner at all. I was just telling you what i do to keep it interesting for me.

I know you weren't. I just know others here were ready to drop the "whiner" bomb like they always do. I have tried to find different things to keep me interested in these races, but I just can't. Even your Teacher and Student aspect. It is hard to find the teachers and students when all ESPN and Fox do is show the teachers which are running away from the students.

I kind of look at it as two races in one. I keep track of the 4 or 5 Cup drivers racing each other, and then i keep track of all the Nationwide regulars racing each other. So i actually get two winners from each race. Except, when one of the Nationwide drivers steps up and gives the Cup guys a run for their money... and then it is a really exciting race for me.
 
I'd be on the lookout for Kenseth to do something stupid out of frustration. See how messed up he was after 200 miles I'd be scared to be around him by the 300 mile mark

Kenseth is a hard racer but not a dirty one other then his instances with Gordon a few years back. You make him sound like dale sr or something

Honestly, I feel the same way. I was bored with the Truck race yesterday because I knew that once Kyle got out front, he was gone. I mean it wasn't even a contest!
 
Kyle Busch may never win a title but he's still gonna get to 200 wins in NASCAR and wins 20+ races a year. As a fan I'm more then happy with that. Obviously I'd love to see a championship but he's still gonna make the hall of fake either way. Mark martin is an all-time great and he never won a title and busch will likely surpass him in cup wins.

Nobody cares that Paul di Resta once beat out Sebastian Vettel for the Formula 3 championship. Because di Resta didn't do much in F1 and Vettel is now a four-time world champion.

It's honestly kind of mind-boggling how much Kyle's fans value second- and third-tier victories. From what I can remember, none of the fans of Harvick, Bowyer, Edwards, Keselowski, Logano, and so on care(d) so much when they won.
