Nationwide Fontana Race Thread

Apparently there's no censoring of language on Race Buddy! LOL Kyle is rightfully bitching out his crew.

Eh, there could have been worse winners. Congrats to Joey.

If you didn't like that race you need to never watch NASCAR again because you'll never be satisfied with anything.

Not as bad as the 22. He tried his hardest to wreck the field. Entertaining to say the least. I loved that race.

Bayne ran into him twice and then got moved. That's the way it works. The guys out there on 40 lap tires trying to block the entire field. He almost wrecked half a dozen guys as he fell back, blocking all the way.

I understand why it happened. But just battering everyone out of the way is probably not the best thing for a Cup guy to be doing when there are guys running for NW points. But that's just Brad's mentality and it did create some big time excitement.

I saw the leader spin his tires and Brad try to push Logano past him, probably thinking Joey would go around instead of straight for the slow car. Brad cut up the middle and Bayne came way down and ran into him. There's no reason for that on a track that wide. When Brad got another run up the middle, Bayne came down again, and ran into him again. Why would anyone put up with that? A few laps later, Bayne is blocking like crazy and almost wrecks a bunch of cars. There's a certain amount of intelligence a driver needs to use when he's at the front on old tires.

I didn't tape it, so maybe I got it wrong. What specifically did you see?

Yep, it was all Bayne. The #2 slows, and Jarrett thinks he may have missed a gear. Brad and Logano have a run up the middle. Bayne comes way down to block (look where the rest of the high line is) and runs into Logano, forcing Logano low and almost wrecking Joe and Brad. Bayne moves up to block Hornish, and Brad gets a run up the middle. Bayne comes down again (look where the high line is), this time hitting Brad. Brad moves him way up. Didn't put him in the wall or wreck him like Stewart says he will do, but he got tired of the blocking.

Bayne drove like an idiot.

Well Bayne is an idiot and Brad was trying to win. I just don't want to hear Brad complain if he gets roughed up.

Thats the beauty about Brad, he rarely complains, and comes back stronger. You must be thinking of Kyle, or Carl....

For the longest time, Brad never blocked. He just ran his line as fast as he could. In the past year, he's started blocking guys who drive like that. Watch what Bayne does when he gets blocked, even without getting run into. He comes back and moves the guy. I'm waiting to hear what Bayne says about it. I remember when Brad messed up at Daytona and wrecked Bayne in the tandem. It happens all the time, but Bayne ran Brad into the grass a week later for payback.
