Nationwide Series at Daytona

I still think it's clear that Kez finished 2nd, but Brad blew it by gassin up too hard and getting out of shape. NASCAR probably would have called Beuscher out of bounds if Brad hadn't run all the way down on him.

While I agree to a certain extent, it is still a product of Plate racing no matter how you look at it.

Then lets all get together and write Brian a letter.

I will start....

Dear Brian,

For years I have loved watching NASCAR. But the plate racing is just horrible....

NEXT

I believe the ruling was that JB went below the yellow line to avoid a crash. Not saying that's the right call but.....

Advancing his position below the yellow line. Everyone else went there to avoid a wreck and slowed down, Buescher went down there and raced Keselowski to the line.

If I was Race Control, Kez won that race.`

Do you have a link to NASCAR's rule that states " If the leading 10 cars crash in front of you on the last lap coming out of turn four, you must stay above the line and crash into them"
Some of yall just amaze me sometimes.

Ummmmm, let's see; last lap, coming out of turns three and four, blocking, going for the win.......WHAT ?
Oh, I get it, so the leader is supposed to stay in line and not go for the win.
Kurt Busch did not hit anyone, he blocked and had room to block but it is all Kurt Busch's fault for going for the win? As long as I've been watching this sport in various venues, ( est.1948) it is called a racing incident.

There's nothing wrong with blocking as long as it's a good block. Logano was already up on the side of Kurt when Kurt tried to block him, it was a dumb move that cost Kurt and a lot of other guys a good finish.

never mind. (walking away, shaking my head....)

The rule already basically says if someone blocks you coming to the checkered flag, you must wreck them or be DQ'd.

Regan Smith was robbed.

I'm a Brad fan and would have liked to see him get the win. But Beuscher did EXACTLY the right thing. He went down just far enough and stayed there just long enough to avoid wrecking. Brad messed up by hitting the gass hard before he got the car under him, and that sent him down the track instead of straight to a win.

Nice try.
But that's a yellow or white line issue (do not advance position area) yesterday the blocking led to the wall, two entirely different cases.

Note: the wall looks like a big white ribbon that covers the outside perimeter on your TV screen.
