I was surprised by Laganos performance too. I think it was the last restart and he started beside Ambrose, with Kyle behind them

I just knew Kyle would take 2nd from Joey. I have seen him start in p3 at the Glen, and even take the lead in a Cup restart, I figured he would at least get Joey. But he didnt Joey did a good job there.
It may have helped Ambrose gap Kyle a little more, and then hold him off (I dunno).

Brad is a great driver, I was surprised when he over driove the bus stop entry. I guess at that stage he felt the urgency.

I appreciate your ideological consistency. :)

I almost watched the race today. I was reading and had it on in the background for a bit, but I realized that I wasn't paying much attention to it so I turned it off. I don't really follow this series anymore (or post in these threads) because I feel the same way you do about the Cuppers. That being said, at least if one had to win, it was Ambrose, the one that doesn't really run any other Nationwide races.

I hope he wins tomorrow.

I don't know who "we" are, but usually they are fairly new...they're like birds, wake up in a new world everyday.."Oh, a cup guy is running in the lower series I am so surprised.lets join in on the me too bandwagon. This have been going on since they started the Busch series, probably longer than that..And probably after the first time a senior driver beat one of their favorites the whining began. Because there are more then one, they form a whiner group and try to make everybody cry along with them. Jump on the whinermobile, so unfair, can't stand a cup guy, I'm going to go pound sand. Turn the freakin thing off if you are so adamant about it..at least you were considerate enough to wait to complain until after the race..thanks for the consideration, most want to start before the race even starts.. it really gets old reading the same old drivel when the rest of us are enjoying and commenting on the race. There is more than one thread where it has been discussed ad nauseum.

Its comments like this one that make this board no better than the crappy unmoderated ones out there. The guy is voicing an opinion. Good for him. Let him be. We are only as classy as our most snide comments.

If Kyle had won this race everyone would be singing the same tune.

I get what you're saying. I just put down my pitchfork for this race since road course races are like holidays. Too fun of a track not to enjoy and at least Ambrose only comes out once or twice a year. My regularly scheduled whining should recommence at Bristol.

well there are opinions, and then there are agendas. Don't like cuppers in N'wide, Don't like cuppers in the trucks...OK opinion noted..but damn, week after fukin week..get a life.Wrong people to complain with your agenda. Go to Nascar's headquarters, join the fan deal they have, write your congressman, whatever.

LOL andy is gonna love reading this. He never complains about race coverage.
 
Got to keep those sponsors happy... I would love to see Blaney, but sponsors like to see their cars up front. If not, they will easily pull sponsorship away from a team or driver.

If cuppers have to drive for a couple of races, then I would easily put in a sub cupper driver for a race or so. Sometimes it is necessary because at the end of the day we know nothing behind the negotiations table at HQ.

Exactly --- if the sponsors aren't happy, then the money doesn't flow, then we all lose.
We may not like it, but MONEY drives the sport.

I thought his brakes faded, but his comments make me think he didn't have enough balls to risk leaning on Kyle, so he drove thru the dirt. I think he'll be more aggressive making room on Sunday.

Kyle complaining about Ambrose not giving him room on that stupid pass attempt Kyle attempted was funny. Kyle actually feels Ambrose should have given him the turn when he wasn't even halfway there. :rolleyes:

Thing is I didn't watch the race, I turned it over with like 7 to go and watched the end of it, and as I figured a Cup guy was in the lead, all I did was point out how every race that Cup guy wins(minus the rookies) in the Nationwide Series and Truck Series we got people complain, rather it's Brad, Kyle, Joey, Matt, Kevin, etc yet this race no one did, and it was pointed out to me it's because that people knew a Cup guy would win, which I pointed out as being wrong because that's every race that they enter that it's known they will win. That's where you came in and told me "Everyone already knows that." clearly not if someone told me other wise. You want to talk about how I'm complaining why didn't you go to one of my post where I said "Another cup guy." and start with that.
 
Hopefully after this ridiculous Stewart incident, NASCAR bans all full-time regulars from running anything but NSCS....but that's just a dream of mine and until then I will never watch a NNS race.
