The day before the election, gas prices here jumped to like $3.59/gallon. Now they're back down to hovering right over the $3/gallon mark.
I don't know where the Washington Examiner comes up with that info but the current Sheetz price in western PA is $3.95/gal. Even where they're based, Altoona,PA, the current price is $4.09/gal. We usually always have cheap fuel in comparison, but low wages so it evens out.When I left home for the holidays 2 and a half weeks ago gas was at its lowest in SoCal at $3.79. I got some in central California for $3.45 2 days ago. I'm excited to see what it is when I get back home in SoCal tomorrow. Maybe $2 79? One can dream.

Next week we will be leaving for Indiana on Sat morning, and we will be staying in Amarillo Sat night.
