I'm not sure why I needed to know this but, okay. The local market just called and I won tickets to MIS this weekend and I passed them up.

I'm looking forward to it. Hoping to spend Sunday up thereYou are missing out. Love MIS.
I used to when you could see lots of side by side racing and they didn't have different paint jobs each week. You are missing out. Love MIS.
Why not give them to someone that could use them? Even on this board? That would have been great for someone on the fence about going. The local market just called and I won tickets to MIS this weekend and I passed them up.

Used to feel that way.Well, that was pretty dumb. I don't care how you feel about the racing, going to the races is great regardless.

I recommend staying home. Watch some Oprah re-runs.Just represents the new feelings on NASCAR and the follow the leader stage show.
Pitiful just pitiful !
Maybe bite your arms every 15 minutes or so.
Me too. TV does that place an injustice. In a second.....Working on details for a trip to MIS in 2018. Love that place.
I would go just to curl my lip at Cletus every time he went by.Different from scratching that poison ivy on the arm thing? Yes? I'm a little sensitive to that.![]()

Especially when the tickets are free.Heck, I would have taken them. I've never been there and 4 hours isn't a bad drive.

I didn't even see the tickets but I'm guessing the were Sun baked tier one club seats.Make sure they are the Champions Club. Great experience.
Best seats in the placeMy regular seats for several years were the top row in Turn 1. Loved every minute.
I remember that one. Under the stands a lot. Still had a great time. A few fans showed me some interesting ways to dry off with the fabulous hand dryers at MIS. Good people that dayFrom our seats at Michigan in June 2015 and no that's not me. We loved every minute of it even the rain rain rain and more rain.

I went to MIS a lot when I lived in Ohio. I used to always sit in Turn 1 as well, right about where the cars were crankin' it back up coming off of pit road. Good stuff. My regular seats for several years were the top row in Turn 1. Loved every minute.
Don't let 'em give you a hard time Larry...... believe it or not.... I turned down free tickets to the August night race at Bristol 2 times back in the late 90's when the waiting list was 2 years... and it was only a 3 hour drive from here.... just was never a fan of Bristol......I didn't even see the tickets but I'm guessing the were Sun baked tier one club seats.
I got tickets to that cart race they ran vrs the Indy 500 and those were turn one Sun baked seats.
Not bad though.
I was more enthusiastic then.

You cant complain about the cost of attending a race when you throw away free ones.
The ticket prices for a race are normally second on my NASCAR trip list.Depending on where you stay and the distance you travel tix may be the 4th-5th most expensive thing.
Yep Same here. All other expenditures are vacation expenses. We always combine our trips to include anything of interest in the area that we're in. Our trips, with the exception of Daytona and Homestead are always three to five weeks. The ticket prices for a race are normally second on my NASCAR trip list.
