new posters?

My daughter got banned because we both post from the same IP address I guess:rolleyes:
Here is a big secret that people have recently discovered, Tapatalk and Wi-Fi, 2 smartphones a laptop a notebook and a PC equals 5 personas, there is always a way around IP addresses. And why not, some people like the subterfuge, pretend they are 007 or something. And before the screaming starts I made a couple of phone calls and yes, if you know how to do it, its easy. I'm too damn old to keep up with more than one and I also have a life. Are there multiples? Yes. Do I care? No. Its just fun to put it together then bust them with a PM and laugh about it.

Some posters may righteously have multiple identities: I do have some experience in these matters after being abducted by a pack of cloned pleasantly emaciated hotties from the former Soviet Union.

There wasn't enough me(s) to go around, so they made 4 copies of me to tend to their pack (the 20 cloned pleasantly emaciated Euro Babes).
While I have no control of my other selves they do have my DNA, and they probably post similar content.

But again it is a righteous manifestation of the historical events described above.

Thanks for sharing your deepest fantasy, but the emaciated part ruined it for me. -> *puts lotion away*

Heh Allenbaba , welcome aboard . What a cool avatar , haven't seen that before .
Thanks! Let's just say I'm pretty close to the #78 team (which also means most of what I say comes with a huge spoonful of bias).

But hey...lost in all the "Logano vs the field" fight club is the fact that Kurt has climbed to 13th in points with back to back top 5 finishes.

Love it for Kurt . Last year you would have gotten razzed out of here with that , but Kurt earns back respect on the track every time he goes out .Very big of Furniture Row to give him support . I think that it will pay off with some top 5's , if not a win. Berrier as crew chief was very big too. That team could be the next MWR.

Kurt really shot himself in the foot each time those cameras came on in the past. He's NOTHING like his image. I've worked with enough drivers now to at least have a basis for comparison - he's one of the easiest to get along with and one of the most accommodating. That said, image is everything, and Kurt knows he needs to do a better job NOT shooting himself in the foot. You can be amazing for 23 hours and 59 minutes, but that one minute on camera after a race can dictate personality.

As for his talent...just, wow.

Kurt is a champion . We 're all pretty quick here to pass judgement ,on people , cars , tracks ,tires , media , everything , that is what we do best . But we change like the wind and move on to the next story every week. For the most part , anyway .

I think I have posted this before, but when Kurt was trying his hand at dragracing a couple of years ago, our team was eating at the Ale House and Tony Schumacher and Kurt was at the table next to us, so Tony brought Kurt over and introduced us. The next day at the track, Kurt, Michael Waltrip, John Force and a few of us were standing around shooting the breeze on the starting line and he had a very nice and laid back attitude. I figure when he is at a Nascar track that he has so much pressure on him that he has a whole different mind set. Now, Waltrip and Force together is a whole different deal...talk, talk, talk,talk,talk... they can be going 100 mph while sitting still.:D

I listened to Force on Sirius quite a bit when he was healing up from his wreck. I don't know if it was the pain pills or not..he mentioned them a couple of times, but he had me in stitches, he was cracking up everybody.

That's probably when they are sleeping.

The pain pills was probably calming him down.lol There is no one like him.:D If you get a chance buy the first season of his family reality show called "Driving Force" on dvd.

Welcome, i'm a 78 fan also..not many of us left
Everyone thought all our fans would jump ship when we made the driver change...but there were only three dozen to begin with, so what the hey. Besides, The 78 bandwagon has been picking up a lot more passengers these days than we've been dropping off.

I am somewhat new to this forum, I joined about 10 months ago, although I started watching NASCAR since 1996. I am from Toronto, and NASCAR fans are non-existant. My friends have no respect for the sport, and bash me everytime I bring it up... so the only place I unfortunately can discuss it are with you fine folks on this site.

If anyone knows of any other large NASCAR discussion forums, I would love to know about them. I enjoy reading about the sport.

Feel your pain ,paradigm , it is a solitary life we lead as Nascar fans in a small market . But ,heh , now we know how soccer fans feel. :D I feel like going out and hugging one .:D

I joined after the big Bowyer/Gordon brawl in the fall Phoenix race last year. I had to see what folks were saying about that one. This place is nice because I also enjoy discussing/watching F1, IndyCar and NHRA. A lot of knowledgeable people here even if I don't agree with all of them.

I am a "Newbie " I found this site because another site had very few race fans, and most of them never posted. Too Boring for me. I like this site and hope I can keep posting on a regular basis. Thanks too all who keep this interesting.

I don't have any other names and I never troll. :D

I have listened to him for a while , He is the voice of Alabama football as well. I grew up with my father working for a small team. I went to as many races I could. When I didn't get to go it was MRN. I still prefer their broadcast to any of the Networks!!! They have to keep you listening and do a much better job of describing the race because most listeners are on radio.

I pulled for the 78 when Regan Smith drove the car. And especially after learning that he committed to moving all the way out to Colorado just so he could be closer and more beneficial to the team. Shortly after that he gets fired and has Kurt Busch replace him. So I dont take too kindly to the 78 organization anymore. That was kind of a dick move.

If you are trying to become a name in the NASCAR world, and you have a chance to hire a former Cup Champion that still has it, over a guy that has 1 win and a best points finish of 24th in 4 years, you wouldn't hire the Champion. It's still a business at the end of the day, and you have to put whats best for your business first and foremost.

Yeah, and I do get that, so its not the worst thing in the world, but it still really screwed Regan in the end. Doesnt help matters that I dont like Kurt either I suppose
