Nex Gen restart/drafting practice at Daytona today

From what I saw, the Penske's were love-bugging it more often than not. (Not a tactic used by people concerned with tearing up equipment, by the way.)
They had me holding my breath lol. Same ol pack racing at a Super. I thought the cars looked more stable. Hard to tell though, it wasn't the last ten laps.

Me too. They'd change positions every couple of laps. I don't know if they were just taking turns pushing or (I hope!) testing the viability of the tandem. I know some didn't like it but it's the only form of superspeedway racing I've truly enjoyed in the last 20 years.

I wonder if they swapped position to cool the pusher car?

I think they fixed it with the hood vents, ducting, and all so they can hook up and push to their hearts content. Time will tell when it gets hot if they got it right or not.
