Vikings Super Bowl LIV Champs Confirmed

NBC's Dungy and the former defensive back analyst are on the Saints side that that was offensive pass interference and should have been called, even on review. They were pointedly critical of the NFL.

I'm still not. It may be approaching, but if you're going to call that, you have to completely re-establish how any and all contact will be called. The DB was initiating contact too.

I hope they had that same energy earlier when Rudolph was held through his entire route earlier and the defensive holding was not called.

Its such a common occurrence to see hand checking, not to mention the Saints DB through his head back to try sell the play. I guess the refs were not biting and let it play out.

Jeez, did no one see the screen grab of the Saints DB pulling on Rudolph’s arm with two hands? If anything, call for offsetting penalties. To say that was OPI alone is terribly soft.

The officiating in this Eagles game is much more questionable.

Even if that was called for OPI, it wouldn't of affected the outcome of the game since the Vikings were already in the redzone.

With their loss to the Vikings today, the Saints became the first team in NFL history to have a 13 win regular season and be out of the playoffs before the Divisional round. The 2019 Saints were only the third 13 win team to have to play in the Wild Card round, the 1999 Titans and the 2011 Saints were the other two. The ‘99 Titans made it to the Super Bowl where they lost to the Rams, the ‘11 Saints made it to the Divisional round where they lost to the 49ers.

:)

The game that preceded that is still a bitter, painful memory. Not as painful as the 2017 Myles Jack Wasn't Down game, but still painful.
The Titans were the only team in the NFL that year that had the Jaguars’ number. The fact that the Jags were 0-3 against the Titans and 15-0 against the rest of the NFL that year is still one of the wackiest stats I can remember.

I actually thought the Titans would get smoked in that AFC Championship game. We’d just barely beat Indianapolis the week before and Jacksonville was coming off a 62-7 demolition of the Dolphins (the last game of Dan Marino’s career, BTW).

Tough break for Wentz and the Eagles today. I think the Seahawks were still more likely to win with him in the game, but they would have had to play harder for it.
