NFL 2019-2020

If the Texans and Seahawks both win today, it would be the first time since the strike-shortened 1982 season that both conference championship games would be between teams from the same division. That year, the Redskins beat the Cowboys in the NFCCG and the Dolphins beat the Jets in the AFCCG.

I am at work until 6pm so did the Texans score off of a Watson TD completion, and a blocked punt?

Hill pressing way too hard, the whole deciscion to have him take the punt reeks of desperation rather than just keeping your composure. They were far from out of the game at 14-0. Now they may be.

Mahomes is just going to have laugh off his recievers dropping anything and everything. That's one inconsequential drop and three huge important drops now, in addition to all of the other mistakes.

I'm usually a "be aggressive" guy, but kicking the FG is the right call there. Keep building the lead, don't allow any momentum to change. If the Chiefs make a stop there, it could have been.a spark they need.

You could hear a pin drop in that stadium before the return. Totally dead.

Well there's your idiotic Texans decision. Trying to get too cute.

Then again, that is a tremendous one-on-one tackle. They almost had it.

I clocked into work 15 minutes ago and it was 24-0. I just checked back in and saw the score. What is happening?

Was looking pretty hairy for the league for a bit there. I’m pretty sure if it were two AFC South teams in the CCG they’d have to flex it to Thursday Night on NFL Network.

Long kickoff return by the Chiefs followed by a quick score. Then the Texans went three and out, except they didn't, because they ran a fake punt on 4th and 4 and didn't get it. Another quick Chiefs TD. Then the Texans fumbled on the next kickoff return, another TD punched in by the Chiefs.

Kelce has been the only Chiefs pass catcher who can hold on to the ball, so Mahomes is just working him now.

Romo is so much better at this than anyone else. He is the most pleasant and natural to listen to, and he seems to know the rules like the back of his hand without sounding like an encyclopedia.

Remember that the Texans wasted two timeouts back in another universe when they were up 21-0 in the second quarter.

Russell Wilson is my favorite quarterback, but right now, I'd have to say Patrick Mahomes is the best player in the NFL.

Didn't like all the talk last year about how he's the greatest ever, but right now, he's the heir apparent to Brady's throne.

This would be tied for the 4th biggest come from behind win in playoff history if it holds, behind the Bills 32 point comeback against the Oilers in the ‘92 AFC Wild Card, the Colts 28 point comeback against KC in the ‘13 AFC Wild Card, the Patriots 25 point comeback on the Falcons in Super Bowl LI, and tied with the 49ers 24 point comeback on the Giants in the ‘02 NFC Wild Card.
