Chargers tried pretty damn hard to lose this one late again, but got it done. Some brutal coverage in the last few minutes by the Raiders, who are pretty much toast now as far as playoff contention.

The Raiders have crapped away their season after that nail-biter with the Chiefs. Had they won that game, they would have become the favorites to win the division. It's like they've never recovered.

The last 2 late game wins Falcons/Raiders might buy Lynn 1 more year, the 45-0 shalacking by the Patriots had him on thin ice, he fired the special teams coach instead. It's been some bad clock management among other things, his calling card is supposed to be running the ball successfully, but their o-line is trash.

They have the quarterback position figured out at least with Herbert. Considering injuries and everything, they need to re-tool on the defensive side with Bosa and not lose their best defensive player James to injury every year. Murray has been a field general mlb rookie for them, solid draft pick. Need the surrounding pieces and discard some of the aging secondary dl that's not performing. still can't believe that King trade.
