NFL 2025-26

Little was probably going to kick the game winning FG if not for the (legit but otherwise irrelevant to the play) illegal hands to the face penalty. The ending wasn't Lawrence's fault exactly, the whole quarter was a massive team failure. Also, when the Texans had first and goal from the one, it looked like the Jags were going to let them score before the false start happened. That would have left them with well over a minute needing only a FG. A lot of minor but huge swings in that game late.

The Jags are a rebuilding team. When you pay Lawrence what they pay him, he has to win games as a franchise quarterback. The Jags dominated the first half in spite of Lawrence. His biggest contribution was a momentum changing interception.

There’s a reason former players and coaches and GMs are constantly trashing him on ESPN and FS1. He’s not good enough.

Need to get Heinicke from the Chargers.

Why does it need to be Heinicke? It could literally be any random mediocre QB, you guys will suck for several years.

Heinicke is the best random mediocre QB that comes to mind.

Baalke set this franchise back 10 years with the dumbass shiit he did (JHA contract, Lawrence contract, Walker at #1 over Hutchinson, Urban Meyer, keeping Press Taylor around).
