NHL 2016-2017

That's weird, people in my area lost their lunch. Right around the time when the 1st goal was waved off.
Lol, I can understand that. I did intend to apologise to you in my post but somehow neglected.
I'm sure you'll win game 7. :)

It was fun tho.

This Thursday my wife and I are heading to the University of Kentucky for the NCAA Division I Track & Field East Regional's. We are only driving as far as Columbus, OH the first night so that we can stop to watch game #7. We should get there right about the time they drop the puck. I'm not sure how it will go with a couple of us from the Pittsburgh market rooting on the Pens in Columbus territory. Especially after taking out their team in the earlier round. I have a feeling we may not be well received. :D

Lol, I'm sure they'll be rooting against Ottawa so all should be fine.

That was a hell of a game. We just could not make it for the 2nd OT and the
eyelids refused to stay open.

Now its on to Davey vs. Goliath.

Nobody has repeated as Stanley Cup Champions since the Red Wings in '97 and '98.

Hopefully that record stays intact. ;)
I was just familiarizing myself with the Preds on wiki.
Loud fan base, catfish on the ice, dysfunctional owners group.
What's not love about all of that?

Its going to take a massive "A" game to beat the Pens. Watching that
first OT last nite was like watching a vise grip get tighter and tighter.

Yeah, it's gonna take everything they got to beat the Penguins. The Preds weren't supposed to beat the Blackhawks, Blues, or Ducks either, but I hope they haven't used themselves up.

IMO its a must when for the Preds tonite if they want to have a chance.
Preds also need to keep the chippiness going. Not dirty, just chippy.

4-1 Pens in the 3rd. 3 goals in 3 mins. That will about do it for tonite.
Pens clamping down. Relentless.

Lets be honest, did we really expect Nashville to stand much of a chance?
It was fun to daydream about it, for a second. I have seen crazier things happen.
Gotta play at least 4. Maybe a plethora of catfish might liven up the place in a couple of nites.

Taking 4 of the next 5 isn't unheard of but stranger things have happened.

Jake Guentzel, a name to remember. We may just be watching the birth of a new superstar.

The Pens future looks to be as bright as its past.

Go Pens!

Well if the Preds can muster a win tonight, it sure would make things interesting.

Refs gonna have to let these guys throw down the gloves sooner or later and step out a the way.
