I was glad it was a good game. I was rooting for the Panthers just because I wanted to pick a team for no particular reason but by game 7 I didn't care who won as long as it was deserved. Both teams looked good.
Bummed on the outcome as I wanted to see Mcdavid get his first cup. He’ll get one.
That said…the Panthers are the second team I had a casual rooting interest in. Soooo many likable players and lead by an extremely likable coach.
There’s no better trophy in sports and there’s no harder trophy to win in sports. Watching the cup presentation is a must watch event for me. Filled with goosebumps on my arms and the occasional tear when the player’s stories get told; all leading back to “family”
