54 missed qualifying dues to failing inspection 5 times. Finally made it through on the 6th try. He will start 39th today.
 
As Much as I dont really care how many Cup guys run NW, I just cant see how they will get rid of them when sponsor dollars are so key.

The #54 Toyota failed to clear NASCAR technical inspection, despite multiple attempts. According to crew chief Adam Stevens, the initial issue was the length of the wheel studs. Once that issue was fixed by the team, NASCAR then determined there was too much skew in the car, and failed the #54 Toyota again. With a limited amount of time to make a qualifying attempt, Busch was never able to get on track and will start Saturday's Nationwide Series race at Auto Club Speedway in the 39th spot.(Fox Sports)(3-22-2014)

It looks like NASCAR did not want Kyle to win another one!

I'm glad they found something to fail him on.

If would be embarrassing if they had to fail him because of the color of the zipper in his fire suite and he had to drive in the nude. Hahahaha


Now hear this:
Kyle does his best driving anytime NASCAR sends him to the rear.
So it should be a good race.

This era? You must have missed Jimmie Johnson winning 6 championships. Pretty sure "this era" belongs to him.
